OnyxBox is closing! Their October 2018 The Bare Necessities Box is their last ONYXBOX to be sent. You can still order this month’s box and past boxes until October 27, 2018.

You will receive a refund between October 6 to 31, 2018 if you have remaining months and subscribed to their 3-6-12 month subscriptions.

Dear ONYX Family,

For the past six years, we have executed our mission to provide a safe, care-free environment to celebrate our beauty – Black beauty. It has been our pleasure to guide you through your natural hair transition, quest for the perfect red lip, and discovering your optimal skincare routine. This month, The Bare Necessities ONYXBOX will leave its footprint in history as our last ONYXBOX. We may be discontinuing our monthly subscription service, but we are starting fresh with new endeavors to continue to support you and Black beauty. 

For our prepaid subscribers who have remaining months in their 3-6-12 month subscriptions, you will receive a refund between October 6-31.The last day to purchase our last ONYXBOX or past boxes is Saturday, October 27.If you have any questions, please email us at [email protected].

    I loved this subscription box. I was wondering where my boxes were so I checked the internet only to find its over? Very very disappointed. I enjoyed 90% of every box I’ve received over the last two years.

    Please come out with another box. Ipsy and birchbox is not for my skintone.

    Did anyone actually receive a refund? I still had 6 months left of my paid subscription and I haven’t received anything. No update or email, no refund. No communication at all. It was a great box but I guess I took a loss.

    Although I was promised a refund for my subscription, I never received it. I have tried to reach them by email and by telephone to no avail. This is unfortunate.

    this is so very sad to hear. i put my subscription on hold a few months ago because it just had not been in the budget. i came back today to restart only to find that the sub is no more. i hope it continues sometime in the future. i still have products from my previous boxes that i use to this day. very sad.

    Curious if people ever get their refunds. I was a vendor for their online store and never got any of my products returned or any compensation for what was sold.

    I really miss this box. I am trying to keep track of all the black owned businesses that really worked for me so that I can continue to order.
