Vosges Chocolate is a luxury chocolate collection created by chocolatier Katrina Markoff.  They offer one-time gift boxes and subscription boxes, starting from $150 every 3 lunar cycles.

This is a review of the Vosges Petite Parcel. This gift set is $150 and available only at the holidays.

DEAL: Through 11/30 save 15% at Vosges with coupon code OCT18!

The chocolates come in an elegant violet box.

The box looks great for gifting too!

The top of the box features the artistic brand logo.

The contents came well protected as well.

The chocolates have a 14-day expiry date because they incorporate perishable ingredients. I am not entirely sure that it sends the right message for mail order chocolate (that buying your chocolate and bread on the daily is the proper form). ANYHOW, I actually won this box last year in a contest on their Facebook page, took all the photos then, but didn’t get around to the review until now. I can assure you that we did our duty and ate all the chocolate before the best buy date. Why did we wait? Because this is a holiday only gift and wasn’t available for purchase again until now.

There’s also a purple card reminding that the chocolates are delicate so they should be kept away from heat.

A cloth covers all the chocolates.

Everything inside my box!

Pecan + Bee Pollen + Turbinado Sugar ($10) These special chocolate-covered caramels contain pecan, bee pollen, and turbinado sugar.

This pack includes 6 caramel bites.

We love pecans so we’re excited to try these treats!

The turbinado sugar and bee pollen are interesting additions to the caramel bites as well. They gave each piece a nice texture and a guilt-free sweet taste! I can’t get enough of them!

We also received several Exotic Chocolate Bars: Coconut Ash & Banana, Black Salt, Smoke & Stout, Goji & Pomegranate, Matcha, and Guajillo & Chipotle.

Since 1998, Vosges chocolates are infusing spices, nuts, herbs, roots and liquor to their products to make more special and enjoyable treats.

Coconut Ash & Banana Super Dark™ Chocolate Bar Coconut, banana, and dark chocolate make such a delicious combination!

This is dark chocolate at its best. And when I say dark, I mean richly dark that it’s almost black!

I love the crunch of this bar. It also has a smooth mouth feel that makes it so hard to resist.

Exotic Truffle Collection ($30) This collection boasts exotic ingredients like Hungarian paprika, first press extra virgin olive oil, wasabi, and Indian curry powder.

This booklet gives you an introduction about the Exotic Truffle Collection by Vosges.

Embark on a trip around the world with the Exotic Truffle Collection, our signature collection and best seller! This 32 piece truffle box includes truffles from our Groove, Italian, Aztec, and Exotic collections. Each purple box is hand-tied with a satin bow and includes an enclosure booklet describing the flavors and telling our unique truffle stories.

You know which truffle is which with this information card.

All the 9 truffles in the Exotic Truffle Collection. They are absolutely beautiful.

This page gives you a step-by-step tasting guide that is designed to get you to engage your senses. I don’t entirely agree with the last step – these puppies are expensive and eating a truffle in two bites sort of destroys the savoring process for me. But you do you, Vosges!

Here’s the entire list of what’s in this box.

  • Naga®: housemade and toasted curry masala + coconut puree + 45% cacao dark milk chocolate unique must try combo
  • Black Pearl®: pink Fijian ginger + freshly grated wasabi + 62% cacao dark chocolate + ceremonial Matcha spicy!

  • Budapest: Kalocsa Hungarian paprika + 62% cacao dark chocolate love this peppery combo
  • Wink of the Rabbit®:soft burnt caramel + 45% cacao dark milk chocolate + New Mexican pecan the smokiness of the caramel was surprising, but delicious, especially in contrast to the crisp pecan.
  • Olio d’Oliva: first press Tuscan olive oil + 36% cocoa butter white chocolate + green olives reserved for husband, i don’t waste calories on white chocolate
  • Gianduia: I.G.P. Piemonte hazelnuts + 45% cacao dark milk chocolate perfect

  • Absinthe: Kübler absinthe + Chinese star anise + fennel + 62% cacao dark chocolate + Sri Lankan coconut ash amazing combination

Organic Peanut Butter Bonbons ($24) Bonbons are small candies covered in chocolate. The ones we received in this box are extra special because they’re filled with peanut butter in the center!

This is the first certified organic product from Vosges, and there are still more to come!

Each bonbon is filled with creamy organic peanut butter, infused with pink Himalayan salt, and covered in rich chocolate for a velvety smooth finish. They are also topped with a crunch of Maldon salt.

They’re sweet, salty, rich, creamy and smooth… and I could tell that with just one bite. It’s so good!

Caramel Marshmallows ($29) Next up is a treat filled with rich caramel and at its bottom is a fluffy vanilla marshmallow from Madagascar. I like this sweet treat because it brings a new twist to an old favorite!

I love the carnival appeal of those letterings on the box!

These pieces are covered in dark chocolate and topped with walnuts and pecans for that added crunch.

Each bite-sized piece is pillow-like and really heavenly!

Look at that beautiful layer!

Bapchi’s Caramel Toffee ($22) This salty-sweet toffee is such a classic! Each piece is filled with caramel and coated with dark milk chocolate then sprinkled with Himalayan salt, walnuts, and pecans.

The chocolate used in this toffee is 45% cacao dark milk chocolate.

These toffee chunks are perfectly pop-able and bite-sized!

It’s crunchy outside but when you get to the center, it just melts in the mouth. They went way too fast!

This set of sweets is luxurious and delectable, making a perfect gift for loved ones and even just for yourself. It’s hard to pick a favorite because everything is so good!

If you’re interested in the subscription, the 3-month cycle includes: Exotic Truffle Collection, 9 pieces; Caramel Marshmallows, 9 pieces, and the Library of Exotic Chocolate Bars, 6 bars.

I would not say “one”!!!! That would make you sick! It’s a good corporate holiday gift for an office! You can also keep Vosges in the fridge, we have never had an issue with keeping it for 2 months or so. I store it in the basement.
