The Gentleman’s Box is a monthly men’s subscription box providing the required essentials for the savvy man. Boxes contain specially-selected items that range from accessories to grooming. When you subscribe, you also receive a subscription to GQ magazine, which is delivered separately through the mail.

TIP: This box is still available through the last day of the month!

There is the signature gold seal of the Gentleman’s Box holding the wrapper together. The presentation is simple and elegant, making this a great ready-to-gift subscription.

DEAL: Save $5 on your first regular box. Use coupon code HELLO.

All the items are neatly packed and wrapped in white paper. They usually have a sleeve to protect the tie and a some nice packaging for any watches, cufflinks, or other delicate items.

Each box includes a copy of The Gentleman’s Post, a well-designed booklet describing the products in the box and offering styling suggestions for each one.

The Gentlemen’s Post walks through everything in the box, and more. There is a handy table of contents that gives a quick list of the contents and the total retail value of the box. They regularly have a feature that introduces us to members of the Gentleman’s Box team.

Each month is dedicated to someone who has had a significant influence on culture or fashion. Usually they honor an actual celebrity or historical figure, but this month’s collection seems to focus on a certain condiment colonel from Clue and is titled “Honoring Our Favorite Mystery Murderer.”

They’ve cleverly included a fill-in-the-blanks dinner party invitation from The Gentleman’s Box Team, mimicking the set up of the Clue mystery game.

The booklet starts off with a style guide to give you some visual cues on wear and pairing options.

I really like the layout of the product guide, it’s so clear and informative! A page is dedicated to each item — they include the usual picture and blurb, but they also include a handy section denoting the level of attire (e.g. formal, business, casual) for which the item is appropriate, as well as colors that best complement it. They also sometimes have discount promotions littered throughout.

The styling tips are really helpful fo

They’ve included a grooming item and an edible item in this month’s box too!

Occasionally they’ll include additional promotions. Here’s a coupon from Tasting Room, a customized wine service.

You can get a $30 off on your first tasting kit and save up to 40% on every bottle sent by using the coupon code provided on this card.

Everything in my October box!

Smarty Pants Gummies ($0.55) It’s an organic, non-GMO, and gluten-free food supplement in gummy candy form. It contains 15 essential nutrients, omega-3, and probiotics. These are great for guys that don’t like pills or that vitamin aftertaste.

Traveling Gentlemen’s Boutique Tie Bar ($25) It’s a key-shaped classic tie bar in silver!

The back of the tie bar’s packaging card provided more information about the brand.

The clip is detailed, making it look so close to the real thing.

It can be easily clipped to any tie, and the mechanism is really sturdy. Its color makes it pretty versatile, too.

Beeyardo The Alpha Beard Shaving Cream. This sample sized shaving cream makes shaving easier. It’s also moisturizing. The packaging has a pic of a mustache and beard at the top. I got a chuckle at first though, as I briefly perceived it as a man’s hair parted in the middle and an insanely-styled beard, and “Alpha beard,” if you will.

Kurt Mayo Tie ($40) This tie has a look that is both retro and modern. It combines a crocheted look with some cool, innovative details.

This mustard-colored necktie is made from cotton, but it has a super soft and silky feel. It doesn’t feel at all like one would think, judging from the knit.

The tail has a cool, hemmed finish to the knit.

According to the booklet, the necktie is best paired with black, navy blue, grey, and brown suits. I like the silken lining on the inside of the neck.

Circle Socks Socks ($15) This pair of high-quality socks matches the tie perfectly!

These are made of 75% cotton, 22% polyester, and 3% elastic.

The crew cut-high socks feature a lightning bolt design on all of the ordinarily visible surfaces.

Gray is the base color, while the toes, heels, and cuffs are in mustard.

Lord Of Ties Lapel Pin ($20) We got another accessory, and this time it’s a lapel pin!

It comes in a black packaging with shiny silver print.

It’s a mustard-colored lapel pin with a classic flower design.

The back of the pin wasn’t too seamless. There are marks of glue used to put the flower together.

I’m digging this mustard ensemble! It is a bold choice, but it looks really sharp when worn in accessory pieces — just don’t go full Hammertime, matching it with a double-breasted, ultra-pleated suit!

Great accessory choices from this month’s Gentleman’s Box! This subscription box is ideal for men who want to look classy all the time, but don’t have the time or inclination to shop. Items are always stylish and mostly on-trend, but not overly flashy. I never expected to have a number of custard-colored items this month, from the socks to necktie, but I’m not complaining. Everything looks awesome! This subscription remains one of the best ways for a fashion-conscious guys who wear office attire to steadily and effortlessly expand their wardrobe. It’s especially helpful for newly-minted gentlemen, as they take the matching guesswork out of the equation, sending complementary and matched pieces.
