Slutbox by Amber Rose is a monthly subscription for empowering women and showing off their fierce side to the world. You can get this box for $29.99 plus free shipping anywhere in the US. This subscription box contains unique items that are curated by Amber Rose to help make you feel good from the inside out.

The name of this box is designed to reclaim hateful language about women. You may disagree! You can read more about it on their site or see the page in the zine below that discusses the name of the box. And yes, to go ahead and answer your question – it gets delivered in the mail just like this.

FYI – if it wasn’t already clear, this is a box with adult language and themes and isn’t appropriate to read at work.

SlutBox by Amber Rose is an inclusive, feminist box, built each month to empower, uplift, and celebrate the fierceness of you (and give you all the tools you need to own your space and make your mark).

From beauty, fashion, body, and more, SlutBox is packed with essentials every SLUT needs to feel sexy, confident, and ready for anything. You want it? Oh, baby. We’ll give it to you good.

The items are wrapped in pink tissue paper.

It’s filled with purple squiggles.

This magazine is packed with lots of useful information.

Amber Rose has given the word slut a different connotation. This box is all about inclusivity, diversity, ending rape culture, and promoting health and sex in a positive light. Besides the table of contents, they featured photos sent in by some of SlutBox’s subscribers.

There’s a message from the curator!

This part of the magazine lists all the products included in the box. There are photos and descriptions, as well as retail prices.

For some of the items, they even included tips on how to use them.

Everything looks exciting!

Here’s a featured Slut of the Month, a person with an inspiring story which others can emulate or draw strength from.

There are some promotional pages for the Slutwalk this October 2018.

The zine even featured some of Protesting 101 guidelines and how you exercise your rights as a woman.

For this month they also interviewed Wanda, Mia, and Chloe to talk about Slutwalk.

Let’s get schooled with the talks about power, sexuality and sex work from these empowering women.

The goal is to eliminate stereotypes, stigma and to be proud and confident of what we do. The magazine talks about the usual taboo topics women don’t usually discuss and breaks it down.

Here’s a regular feature in the zine, the Whoreoscopes! It provides predictions of the future depending on your Zodiac sign.

Lastly, these are very specific and straight to the point tips that are different from the usual back to school tips you see from other magazines.

Everything in the box!

Slutbox Exclusive Slut Button ($7.99) Forget about the scarlet letter that shames women, this empowering scarlet pin is a symbol of a movement!

It has the usual fastening mechanism with metal backing. While this is a large 2 1/4″ pin, since when is a button worth $8?

Demeter Fragrance Library Roll-On Perfume In Amber ($12) A few rolls of this perfume goes a long way. It has an amber, warm, alluring and honey-like scent labeled as an aphrodisiac because of its sensual and oriental notes.

I haven’t seen Demeter in a while and I was pretty happy to see it here!

Demeter gave us a discount code!

This sampler is a good purchase if you want to try out different scents every day.

Ms. Betty’s Original Bad Ass Bitch Balm ($4) I love the simple black and white packaging. It’s a handmade balm with a perfect blend of vitamin E, coconut oil, beeswax, organic shea butter, and essential oil. It gives us moistened, soft lips naturally with a minty flavor.

Yey! We are given another discount code, this time from Ms. Betty’s Original.

Egyptian Magic Skin Cream ($3.25) This hyped cream is phenomenal. It’s a great moisturizer (even for cracked heels and elbows), heal burns, treats cuts and scrapes, fade scars, treats eczema and offers psoriasis relief, hair conditioner, lip balm, aftershave, after sun lotion, vaginal moisturizer, hand and cuticle cream, makeup remover, eye cream, massage balm, tattoo aftercare, diaper rash, makeup primer, can be used during and after pregnancy for stretch marks and cracked nipples, and hydrating face mask. Whew! It is made with pure ingredients of olive oil, beeswax, honey, bee pollen, royal jelly, and bee propolis. Of course, it is also formulated without parabens, additives, GMOs, but used their natural preservatives to make the healing balm effective.

Facial Forensics Green Tea Toner ($22) It’s a refreshing toner that promotes elasticity, tone, texture, and anti-aging of skin. Shake well before using and apply it after cleansing with a cotton pad or spray directly onto face. You can apply your favorite moisturizer after.

The Brother’s Apothecary Golden Dream CBD Hemp Tea ($4.50) It is said that this is formulated with bedtime in mind. So expect to have a relaxing and calming moment when you drink this CBD tea. It is perfect for meditation or settling the stomach. It does not contain caffeine but contains coconut milk, chamomile, organic leaves, orange peel, tapioca syrup, and sugar esters instead.

I didn’t try this out because I don’t drink tea, which is a much stronger aversion than I would have testing out CBD. We use CBD biscuits for our older dog Lindy.

Estate Cosmetics Dew Me Baked Highlighter In Exposed ($10) This is a highlighter that can emphasize your beautiful features! It has a creamy texture with a badass color payoff and formulated without parabens, phthalates, and not tested on animals.

I love the feminine peachy pink color. It can be applied to eyelids, inner corner of the eyes, nose bridge, cheekbones or anywhere you want an instant glow.

This is said to last longer than your ex so don’t you worry! You can start on a subtle shade and just apply or pack it on if you want it super pigmented.

CocoLube Spray & Play Personal Lubricant ($9.99 Full-Size 1 oz.; $7.99 on the card) It’s a unique blend of oil-based formula lubricant that moisturizes and long lasting without being greasy! It works as a massage oil and sexual lubricant. This product is unisex but mostly loved by women because it’s hydrating, feels silky smooth and smells great!

The coconut oil-derived lube doesn’t contain silicones, glycerin, parabens, petrochemicals, and preservatives. It awakens the senses with real health benefits. It works like a concentrated silicone yet totally toy safe.

Bring It Up The Original Instant Breast Lift ($4.08; $5 on the card) These miracle workers lifts breasts up to 6 inches! They are waterproof and hypoallergenic plus it offers transparent support so no one will notice you’re using it.

It even provides full support for women who have bra sizes from A-D.

The packaging also serves as the instruction guide so don’t lose it!

It has a patented lift from the top method. You peel off the half bottom first and stick it around the top part of the nipple. Then peel off the upper half and pull the lift upward to the desired position. It will make a crease on your skin but don’t worry about it. Just firmly press the whole tape and cut the edges so that it will not be seen under clothing.

I wouldn’t wear these on the regular but they are good for outfits where you want to keep up the ladies without a bra.

Bring It Up Double Talk Scented Messages From The Heart ($10) They sent us a cute and sweet-scented pair of nipple tapes!

This pair is fun and flirtatious! Perfect for skimpy party outfits or costumes.

Tenga EGG Stepper ($8.21; $6.50 on the card) It’s stretchy and reusable portable pleasure device for men.

The lubricator is provided and the egg is available in many textures.

My husband unboxed this box and we had a good laugh. “Easy beat”. I don’t know why this toy would be in this box.

Mystery Vibe $50 Gift Card

It’s a gift card for Crescendo. They call it the world’s most advanced luxury unisex personal massager. It is premium body safe silicone, bendable, waterproof, body adapting and app-connected so you can control multiple vibration settings and achieve pleasure in any way you want.

It’s a generous $50 exclusive discount…. on a $150 item! Are you throwing down $100 on a vibe because you got this advertisement in this box?

Finally, spreading awareness and knowledge of your rights.

They even cited different specific scenarios and the right next step of actions.

Esoteric Life Medium Raw Brazilian Rose Quartz Stone ($13) This crystal is from the August box. I don’t know if everyone including the new subscribers received it too, but they listed it in the booklet, which was odd. No double-dips allowed!

This pink universal stone of love comes with an info card. It has a lot of metaphysical properties.

The rose quartz attracts love, purifies, and open the heart and promotes inner healing and peace. It’s a stone of love, tenderness, and sensuality.

The box is always controversial from its name to the items. I have to admit seeing the word Slut is a lot less jarring than it was a few months ago. But… the best I can say is that this box has a lot of clearly promotional items, and some sort of obsession with pasties and CBD. And in a box where you’d expect a sex toy for women, the first one they actually include is a male masturbation toy?! I’m highly confused. I don’t think it’s paying attention to what women want, which is to make a bold statement in our every day lives. That bold statement is likely not a SlutBox shirt, but how about a #MeToo shirt? Besides the great know your rights card, I’m not feeling the empowerment from this box. I hope they turn it around!
