Barkbox is a monthly subscription box just for dogs. Each box has 4-6 dog products and is customized to the size of your pup, plus it has a cute theme that you and your dog will get a kick out of.

This Barkbox is for small dogs like our miniature schnauzers, Lindy and Dean, but you can get them for medium and large dogs too. Check out our Barkbox reviews for a peek at the big dog boxes! NEW: the heavy chewer box!

DEAL: You can get a $10 credit to the Barkshop with your Barkbox subscription with promo code MS10X1213.

A Halloween-themed packaging welcomed us upon opening the box!

BarkBox always does a great job of making the box decor, treat and toy selections fit the theme.

The theme of this month’s box was Return Of The Night Of The Ghost Squirrels 2!

Check out this Wee Wee Board, Barkbox’s version of Ouija Board!

To use this board, you must first hold a treat and let your dog check them out for a second.

Then, count at least 10 seconds, check out your dog’s reaction and slide the Ghost Squirrel Finder accordingly. Don’t forget to give the treat, or get your dog’s eternal fury!

The card cover looks like a poster for a horror movie!

Here, they listed clues about some of the items we might find in the box.

The back of the card poses some warning during your ghost squirrel quests, and by the end of this activity, your dog will be a certified Ghost Sniffer!

Dogs can’t eat chocolate, so just give ’em a box of treats (and toys) instead.

These are actually tearable coupons you can share!

Everything in this month’s box!

Jones Natural Chews in Chicken Blend Sausage ($2.99) Long and chewy, this sausage snack for dogs is made with chicken, rye flour, liquid smoke flavoring, and rosemary extracts. It can be broken down into smaller pieces as a training treat but we break in half for sharing. Our pups definitely had fun munching on it!

Barkbox Ralph Hits The Road Plush Toy. It’s a cute squirrel plush toy featuring a crinkle-mat body and a squeaker in the head and tail. It produces a loud sound when bitten by the pups.

Aside from the squeakers and matted body, Ralph the squirrel also has a glow in the dark eyes, to make it look more like a spirit squirrel in the dark.

Scary Squirrely Skull. The next plush toy is a squirrel’s skull with a squirrel ghost on each side. It’s an ideal toy for a tug-of-war game with your dogs!

It also has a built-in squeaker and a glow in the dark eyes.

Bark The Snackening Beef & Turkey Dog Treats. We got a whole bag of these dog treats made of real beef and turkey!

Inside the pack are ghost-shaped treats. Each piece was fairly soft and they smell good to dogs!

All the ingredients used are made in the USA. No fillers either!

Bark The Snackening Bacon & Pumpkin Dog Treats. The next bag of treats features bacon, our pups’ all-time favorite. It also contains pumpkin, which is a popular fall flavor!

These are bite-sized, tablet-shaped treats with a rough yet crunchy texture. As expected, our beloved dogs kept asking for more of these!

It is also wheat, corn, soy, and grain free.

Here’s Dean with his new plush toy and all the treats in this month’s box!

Barkbox’s theme and item names are always so funny and witty. This month’s Halloween themed toys and treats had us screaming… in delight! Our dogs were satisfied with the plush toys as they kept playing with them for hours, and they can’t help but drool over the delectable dog snacks either. Getting this subscription every month is definitely a treat, not a trick! If you want fun goodies for your dogs including delicious snacks and some cute, durable toys, this subscription is a must-try!
