Everything in the box!

This month, the information cards were left out of the box but subscribers should have received an email with all the details.

My only concern this month is about the expiry dates. I received my box on September 28th and some treats had an expiry date very close. Luckily, I usually don’t pace myself when I get the box and I’ll eat everything over two days.

We also have information about each bakery featured in this month’s box.

Biscotti Double Chocolate by Leah’s Bakery. Delicious crispy biscotti with an intense chocolate flavor. It was quite crumbly, but I liked the plate so as not to waste anything!

Reeses Cookie Pie by Hotti Biscotti. The inside is soft with a mix of peanut butter and chocolate chips, and the pie dough was flaky and really tasty. Of course, the Reeses pieces on top are just delicious! This was almost the same pie as what we received in the July’s box.

Chocolate Chip Meringue by Leah’s Bakery. Sadly, this one came broken up. It was tasty, light and sweet, but it doesn’t look great on the plate!

Peanut Butter Pop by Hotti Biscotti. A peanut butter cup in the form of a cake. The inside tastes like and has the same texture as the peanut center of the peanut butter pop. The outer layer is nicely crunchy.

Pecan Butter Tart by Dee’s Bakery. I love butter tarts! This one was soft, buttery, the tart itself was flaky and it was just delicious!

We always love our treats from Bakers Krate, but this month’s wasn’t my favorite as there were three treats with nuts, so I couldn’t share this box with my husband. Nonetheless, the treats themselves were quite tasty and I really like the variety of texture that we get every month. Even though I appreciate that they sent an email with the information about this month’s treats, I would prefer getting a card inside the box so I’m not left wondering if I can share the treats or not, due to allergies in my house.

What do you think of this month’s treats?
