The Gentleman’s Box is a monthly men’s subscription box providing the required essentials for the savvy man. Boxes contain specially-selected items that range from accessories to grooming. When you subscribe, you also receive a subscription to GQ magazine, which is delivered separately through the mail.

TIP: This box is still available through the last day of the month!

There is the signature gold seal of the Gentleman’s Box holding the wrapper together.

DEAL: Save $5 on your first regular box. Use coupon code HELLO.

All the items are neatly packed and wrapped in white paper.

Each box includes a copy of The Gentleman’s Post, a well-designed booklet describing the products in the box and offering styling suggestions for each one.

The Gentlemen’s Post walks through everything in the box, and more. There is a handy table of contents that gives a quick list of the contents and the total retail value. The last several issues have introduced us to members of the Gentleman’s Box team.

Each month is dedicated to someone who has had a significant influence on culture or fashion. This month’s collection is to our favorite Wall Street Mogul.

Inside the booklet are some style inspirations that you can emulate if you want to look smart with your attire. It’s a handy styling guide for transforming your pieces into an outfit.

A page is dedicated to each item — they include the usual picture and blurb, but they also include a handy section denoting the level of attire (e.g. formal, business, casual) for which the item is appropriate, as well as colors that best complement it.

I really like the layout of the product guide! The styling tips are really helpful for those of us that need a little help.

They have also have a handy list of men’s wardrobe essentials to have on hand for the cooler weather…

…and a Gentleman’s Tip.

Our box included a coupon for North Accent watches.

This is a very unique watch! The Arabic numerals look pretty cool on a watch face.

Everything in my September box!

B. Elegant Menswear Pocket Square ($15) Women have their jewelry, accessories, elaborate makeup, hairstyle, elegant gown, and all that jazz. Each can hold on its own and make a statement out of the ensemble. Likewise, men have their pocket square, cufflinks, necktie and socks to complement their dashing suit. It’s simple but the small details are crucial.

This simple white pocket square with red stitching may not be a statement piece itself, but when properly matched with other pieces of the ensemble (most importantly the necktie), it can really complete an outfit. I like the quality of the fabric, and it is a great match with the necktie in this box.

Gentleman Collective Wallet/ Card Holder ($22) When you are decked out all sleek like James Bond, you don’t want to be caught whipping out a Velcro wallet. This card holder looks classy and fits comfortably in any pocket.

It can comfortably fit 7 cards in there — No coins, please. It’s rough around the edges and made up of black faux leather, but it makes you feel luxurious.

The Dirty Collar Tie ($25) Neckties are tricky, sometimes there is a fine line between looking classy or tacky. Too old or too hip. This necktie is that line. It is perfect for any occasion.

The cotton modern width tie has a rich burgundy color and a tasteful pattern of florets.

Other than the suit itself, the necktie is the second most important part of a man’s attire — it is the first thing you notice. This tie matches the sock and pocket square in this month’s box.

Gentlemen Of The North Socks ($12) They did a good job matching the tie color with these socks, but I would like to see the striped fabric lined up better for a more flawless look.

The pair is made of 80% cotton, 15% polyester, 3% spandex and 2% nylon.

The pair has a great fit and comfortable to wear. The length is a little shorter than a traditional dress sock — I find this very comfy, and it looks just as good as a tall sock (unless your pants are really high-water).

They have different brands but the colors match each other! This is one of the reasons it pays to subscribe to a curated box and save yourself the hassle of trying to construct coordinated outfits yourself!

J. Ciro Cufflinks ($75) The cufflinks are encased in this black box. They are to a man’s outfit as earrings are to a woman’s.

This is the perfect set of links for any one who follows the markets!

They are even shinier than the pictures can show. They would work well with a dark-colored suit.

Whenever I see the great cufflinks in Gentleman’s Box, I lament the fact that I don’t currently have any French cuff shirts!

This is a subscription box ideal for men who are always on the go or that don’t have time to shop. It can also be for men who need a little help putting together an outfit that looks sharp. First impressions are always vital, and style and presentation are a huge part of that. Might as well use your great style to your advantage, right? Gentleman’s Box has got us covered with the essentials to make any suit into a complete ensemble. I think the necktie, pocket square, and socks are perfect as a team. I love the color and the style. It’s nice to have unique cufflinks and a sleek wallet that completes the ensemble. All told, these products are worth $149!
