Suzanne Selects is a monthly subscription box from actress Suzanne Somers, best known for playing Chrissy on Three’s Company (and yes, I believe I watched every single episode back in the day). Suzanne Selects is a box of her full-sized beauty and health products for only $39.99 a month. Products are certified “ToxicFree” and are also cruelty-free and made in the United States.

My box was delivered by UPS and had a simple but sunny presentation, with shredded white paper squiggles hiding my products.

My first box was “The Firming Peptides” box and listed the four products I would find in the box.

The back of the card listed the ingredients for each skin care product. I prefer this to reading the stuff on the bottles because let’s face it – when you get to a certain age, all that small printing on bottles is useless. Products from this line will have no PEGs, no parabens, no synthetic fragrances, no chemical emulsifiers, no animal testing, and are gluten-free.

I received 4 full-sized products! I am getting ever closer to the half-century mark and I would say that the products from this skincare line are targeted more towards preventing or reversing age-related concerns. Keywords such as “nurture” and “hydrate” show up frequently. They also offer products to deal with age-related hormonal breakouts and sell powders to reduce shine.

Everything in my box! I was really looking forward to trying these products!

RestoreLife Formulas Omega 3 Dietary Supplement ($29.99) I like supplements because I think they help patch up holes in our modern American diet. I am also picky about the kinds of supplements I will take but fish oil is a big “yes” from me.

Like all good supplements, my bottle was sealed for my protection.

Fish oil is recommended for a variety of health issues but is most widely known to support brain and heart health.

Take one softgel a day with a meal. As always, check with your doctor or healthcare provider before using and especially if you are pregnant or nursing. Thinner blood may be a desired side effect for some but for someone on blood thinners or about to undergo surgery, that can be a problem.

The softgels are kind of large yet I haven’t had any problems swallowing them and I haven’t had any fishy burps.

Suzanne Organics Firming Facial Cleanser ($39.99, currently on sale for $29.99) I am always happy to try a gentle cleanser. This one smells like vanilla cream and oranges, and I used it after removing my makeup with a cleansing oil (and by itself in the morning).

I thought it did a great job of removing the rest of my makeup and the dirt from the day. Plus, my skin didn’t feel tight afterwards.

Suzanne Organics Firming Eye Serum ($44.99, currently on sale for $34.99) I was surprised to see a brown serum but it gets its hue from olive leaves! It wasn’t sticky or oily but it did have a smell that kind of reminded me of self-tanner. The scent faded quickly.

Hyaluronic acid is frequently used in anti-aging and hydrating products because it draws moisture to the skin and helps plump up fine lines. Antioxidants help knock out free-radicals which may further damage skin.

It has a pump dispenser which is great because once this stuff is exposed to air it starts to breakdown and this keeps it active for longer.

Suzanne Organics Firming 7-Day Creme ($39.99, currently selling for $29.99) I usually apply a facial oil to keep my skin hydrated and was worried that this wouldn’t be “moist” enough for my skin but I ended up loving it!

More of those firming peptides (which can be found in all three of the beauty products this month) help keep skin peppy.

After applying I gently rubbed this around my face and it was absorbed almost immediately. It wasn’t sticky or greasy and yet my skin felt soft and my foundation applied smoothly. It has a light neutral scent that faded quickly.

I was very impressed with my first shipment of Suzanne Selects! For $39.99 I received 4 full-sized products that I felt safe using on my skin and (in the case of the fish oil supplements) taking orally. I was happy with the selection of products and the fact that they worked together so well. As for the value, the total MSRP is $154.96, and even with 3 of the items on sale it still comes out to around $124.96! Wow!

Sneak Peek: Suzanne reveals the box contents on Facebook ahead of time and it looks like the September shipment is The Damage Control Box and will feature a hair mask, face mask, lip wrinkle cream, and resveratrol supplement!
