Scent Box is a monthly fragrance subscription service for men and women that sends a .27 ounce/8 ml bottle of your choice from over 650 scents, including 80 premium choices. They offer both a Standard ($13.95 a month) or Premium ($18.95 a month for a premium fragrance) option and you can fill up your queue or be surprised by the scent of the month. You can upgrade to the Deluxe plan (2 fragrances a month for $21.95) or go for the Ultra Premium Plan ($29.95 a month for 2 premium fragrances).

I lifted the lid (which had a hidden magnetic closure) to find a thank you card.
The flip side had a code to save 20% off the price of a full-size bottle of fragrance.
I received a card that featured the men’s scent of the month on one side…
…and the women’s scent on the other.
My fragrance was nestled safely in a bed of foam padding, which kept it secure during shipping.
All fragrances come in their own keepsake sprayer, and I love this teal blue shade!
The sprayers have a sticker on the bottom so you can keep track of your scents. Something that is unique with this box is that every scent comes with a sprayer. I got the scent of the month, Marc Jacobs Daisy Eau So Fresh ($100 for 2.5 ounces). This is a floral fruity scent with notes of grapefruit, pear, litchi, and violet. Sephora calls it “a spirited incantation of the original Daisy” and it’s a nice choice for summer.
The perfume vial is tucked into the container and you twist it up to see the nozzle.
You can remove the vial from the sprayer. I was surprised to see the nozzle matched the holder!
Overall I was really happy with my August Scent Box! The scent I received was very feminine and sweet, a nice scent to wear either to work or for a day out and about. I don’t know that it smelled like any of the notes that were mentioned, but sweet and floral are good descriptors. As for the value: if using the price per ml of the larger bottle, it comes out to around $10.67, but using the price per ml of the smaller rollerball, it comes out to around $21.60. Fact is, in most cases the smaller the amount purchased, the higher the cost, so this worked out in my favor to purchase it from Scent Box. Plus, I didn’t have to pay extra for shipping AND it came in an adorable holder. I like wearing a lot of different scents so purchasing a full-sized bottle is a rarity for me but spending around $20 or less to try new fragrances is something I appreciate.
