This month’s poster features Astro Boy and detective Higeoyaji!

The back of the poster serves as the information sheet. It lists all the anime goodies in this box.

Everything in the August 2018 Crate!

The box includes an event card containing the schedule of Dragon Ball Z throwback movie in U.S. and Canada.

Trade your movie ticket and receive an exclusive Dragon Ball Z trading card!

Rising Of The Shield Hero Pin. This month’s pin features Raphtalia from Rising of the Shield or Tate No Yusha No Nariagari, a Japanese light novel adapted into a manga series.

Raphtalia is a Tanuki or demi-human. She is a half raccoon and half human.

Space Dandy T-Shirt. This tee features Space Dandy! It’s a Japanese manga that started in 2014 showing the misadventures of Dandy, an alien hunter who is “a dandy guy in space” in search for undiscovered and rare aliens.

The shirt’s design has Dandy, Meow, and his robot assistant QT in their battleship as background. This anime’s story is so light with a lot of funny and exciting scenes.

Astro Boy T-Shirt. Who doesn’t know Astro Boy? This second shirt we got features Astroboy, the first animated television series in Japan and also one of the most successful manga and anime franchises in the world.

The shirt is simple yet cool. It has a retro-style picture of Astro Boy with Japanese characters on the side that translates to Tetsuwan Atomu. It means Mighty Atom, the original name of Astro Boy.

Evangelion Fitness Towel. This Neon Genesis Evangelion-themed towel features Rei and her Evangelion unit-00. It’s a soft and fast absorbent towel ideal to bring to the gym and even when trekking or camping, as it will definitely knock all your sweat off!

Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online Manga Vol. 1. This month’s manga is written by Keiichi Sigsawa and illustrated by Kouhaku Kuroboshi. The story is about Kohiruimaki Karen, a 183cm tall female college student who has a complex about her tall figure and has a poor social disposition because of it.

The back of the manga features Karen sleeping, so cute!

It’s a black and white manga with beautiful drawings. The format is exactly the same with the regular Japanese manga.

It’s packed with action and comedy. I’m so excited to finish this one!

Another Loot Anime box that doesn’t include a figure and I’m missing those items, it’s a real bummer! Though they don’t have the figures, all the items in this month’s box are still fun. The pin is so cute, same with the Evangelion-themed towel, but what struck me the most is the idea of getting two exclusive shirts. Both of them look really cool, especially the white tee with Astroboy design. If you are an anime fan who loves collecting exclusive items, then this a great subscription for you!
