Loot Crate Firefly Cargo Crate comes every other month and each box has a theme to a character from the show/movie. There was a delay and a reconfiguration of this box so we haven’t gotten one in awhile. This is the new box and new format.
This is a box pattern. It is themed like the Blue Sun Merch Crate transport versus the inside of the Serenity ship that we used to get. It is also a bit smaller then the last box but that is ok since it’s what on the inside that counts.
First look into my box. Still not much packing in these boxes but with the smaller size all the items stay nice and tucked in. Loot Crate always takes care to put the flat items on the bottom to keep them flat and safe in transport.

Space Monkeys Tee – This shirt has me laughing so much. Why Kaylee is a top notch mechanic and could make things work with about any random thing that often left her space a bit crazy looking.
Exclusive Kaylee Frye Shindig Mini Master – I’m so glad that this new season of crates still comes with a Little Damn Heroes figure. These are Series 2 figures and I really like it. I’m not sure they captured her face quite right but the dress is fantastic.
The detail on the figures is so spot on. Just look at all the ruffles and then the texture on her hair. So much detail to look at.
While the Series 1 boxes were all the same pattern, the Series 2 boxes look like they might be theme patterned. This a full-on Kaylee box.
Exclusive Everything’s Shiny Mini Glass – A perfectly shiny saying for a shiny shot glass. I use shot glass to hold little doodads in my craft room and this one is going into a place of honor right up front.
With the saying on one side, you get a picture of Kaylee on the other with her pretty parasol.
Exclusive Kaylee Jumpsuit Patch Set – I’m all about patches lately. I have a stash and I need to figure out how to show them off. I’m thinking of getting a denim throw pillow to put all of them on. What do you guys think? Do you have ideas for patches? These three are iconic from Kaylee’s jumpsuit that she wears most of the time on the show.
Exclusive Kaylee Room Sign Pin – She has the best room sign. I’m glad they kept the pins in this season of the crate. The Cargo Crate pins are always so heavy and detailed and such a great quality. I love them each time.
I Love my Captain Sticker – This is another sticker like the one on the outside of my box. It really helps from getting me to try and peel the one of the box. I have my own new and ready to go one.
This was a great start for Season 2 of the Loot Crate Firefly Cargo Crate. I think the items were really spot on and hit the theme fantastically. There were lots of delays with this and it shipped out really late but I’m hoping they get back on track and start sending them out regularly. I always love my Firefly crates and all the items in them. I like that they kept the tee shirt, pin, and figure each box and then toss in a couple other well-curated pieces. It really is like I’m doing a heist and obtaining some shiny pieces.
