Everything inside the box!

Melon Cream Soda Chips. Melon Cream Soda is a popular drink in Japan composed of melon soda and vanilla ice cream. In this snack, it was incorporated with potato chips, resulting in a bizarre taste.

Happy Turn Soy Sauce Cheese Flavor. These are rice crackers containing a unique soy sauce and savory cheese flavorings. At first, I thought it was a bad idea but when I tried it I was amazed because it’s actually tasty! Inside this party pack are smaller pieces of individually wrapped rice crackers, so it’s easy to share with family and friends.

Koikeya Scone Rich Corn Flavor. This snack is… well, corny. It uses corn powder made from Hokkaido sweet corn.

Salty Seaweed Stick Potato Snack. Potato stick fries are often sold in festivals throughout Japan. It is very famous because they are tasty and crunchy. This snack is inspired by that, and it’s even better because it’s handy and it’s flavored with salty seaweed. Getting this snack in share packs makes it truly excellent!

Ikinari Dango Kit Kat. This Kit Kit flavor was inspired by Ikinari Dango, a mochi ball filled with sweet potato and azuki red beans. It really had the unmistakable aroma and flavor of red beans. Not my favorite but it grows on you with subsequent nibbles. Nibbles is the operative word – not bites.

Meiji Takenoko No Sato – Cookies & Cream. This popular Japanese snack Takenoko No Sato features a yummy cookie base with cookies and cream toppings. It is a limited and exclusive edition from this snack since the regular toppings are made from chocolate. I’m glad I got to taste one!

Kakigori Ramune Candy. With a mix of ramune and strawberry, this Japanese candy was designed to imitate the feeling of eating real kakigori. It has a cooling sensation when you pop and melt it in your mouth!

Yogurt Flavored Ginza Rusk. Crunchy and super tasty, the treat is made from ginza rusk topped with white chocolate yogurt. Each piece is infused with a burst of lactic acid to aid in your digestion!

Tonkatsu Sauce Umaibo. A staple item in Japanese snack boxes like Tokyo Treat is umaibo, a puffed corn stick blended with a variety of flavors. This month’s umaibo is flavored with tonkatsu sauce, a savory sauce which is usually paired with a famous pork cutlet. It’s so crunchy and flavorful!

Cheesnack. This pocket-size flavorful dagashi snack features a creamy and cheesy biscuit. Definitely the perfect on-the-go snack for people who loves cheesy crackers!

Cream Rusk. This one captured my husband’s taste. The creamy rusk toast combines perfectly with the sweet cream on top. It’s so smooth, crunchy, and very satisfying!

Doraemon Gummies. Doraemon is a Japanese manga character loved throughout Japan. He is a robotic cat with a lot of futuristic items inside his four-dimensional pocket. Inside the pack are grape-flavored Doraemon-shaped gummy and three other gummies shaped like iconic Doraemon gadgets!

Popsicle DIY Kit. This month’s DIY kit is summer inspired and is pretty simple to make. Just insert the wooden stick on the cube-shaped candy to form a popsicle, dip it into the liquid candy, put some powder and repeat!

Pepsi J-Cola Midnight. This month’s drink is a Japan exclusive! This soda from Pepsi is fused with refreshing cassis grape to provide a deeper pantented Pepsi taste!

This month’s box was filled with festivity and delicious tasting snacks! The box features a good balance of sweet chocolate treats, gummy candies, and creamy crunchy snacks too. I can’t help but be amazed to all the snacks they offer each and every month and as always, we’re delighted with the DIY candy kit because they’re fun and easy to make. If you are looking for great Japanese snacks to satisfy your cravings, then Tokyo Treat is an ideal subscription for you.
