The Detox Box is a monthly green and natural beauty subscription box from The Detox Market. For $49.95 each month, you’ll get a box featuring one or more green beauty products with a value of at least $90. The price decreases by $10 per month on a 6-month plan!

As you open the box, you will find feel-good messages from The Detox Box.

The products are covered with white squiggles.

This month’s featured brand is Vapour Organic Beauty by Krysia Boinis & Kristine Keheley!

The Detox Market had a little Q and A with the maker Krysia & Kristine, where they also shared some personal information.

I like the information card they provide! It’s complete with a product description, a list of key ingredients, and expert tips.

Can’t wait to dig in!

Everything in the box this month!

Vapour Organic Beauty Stratus Luminous Skin Perfecting Primer ($50) It’s a skin-improving primer made up of all-natural, non-toxic, and cruelty-free ingredients. Lightweight and breathable, it leaves a flawless finish even without foundation. It works well as a superior primer under foundation too as is brightens the complexion, calms irritation, and evens skin tone and texture.

They have 3 shades namely 902, 903, and 904. I got 904, which color balances sallowness and for light to medium skin with neutral or olive undertones. You can use this and apply directly from stick to skin and blend with fingers or beauty sponge. It is gentle enough for highly sensitive skin made up of 70% organic ingredients and 30% essential oils with vitamins and fine art infused color.

Vapour Organics Aura Multi-Use Blush ($36) This multi-use blush is a perfect go-to makeup item for on-the-go women. You can just dot it to cheeks, lids, and lips, then you’re good to go. It’s a bonus that it is easily blendable and buildable too if you want a dramatic effect. You can warm the stick first on the back of the hand and then apply on cheeks. Most of all, it’s all-natural, non-toxic, and cruelty-free!

Vapour Organics Velvet Lip Gloss ($25) Velvety and infused with antioxidant green tea, this lip gloss is never sticky or tacky. It is free of synthetic chemicals, and also hydrating and long-lasting. I like that it’s very light on lips. It’s a clear gloss with a subtle iridescence that restores and soothes.

The velvet texture is solid on room temperature and just melts unto your lips upon application. It is gentle even for a highly sensitive skin.

These are the swatches of the lip gloss, primer, and blush.

I tilted my arm so that you can appreciate how the lip gloss glistens and how the primer has a dewy consistency. The multi-tasking blush is pigmented and very creamy. The color is not patchy or streaky and it just glides on the skin without problems.

The Detox Box chose a perfect brand to feature because Vapour Organics live by the same principle of giving back to nature and using healthy ingredients even in makeup. All the items were natural, cruelty-free and non-toxic. They were all creamy, hydrating and gives a natural-looking boost to my makeup routine. They’re all very convenient to use especially the multi-tasking blush. It’s like keeping multiple makeups without taking up a lot of space in my purse. There are no fillers in this box and I’m happy with the high quality overall! It also was a sharp detour from other natural beauty boxes that feature a single line each month with a makeup focus. I liked it because it was really low key, and allows me to use up some almost-empties, but I wouldn’t want to see it every month!
