The Book(ish) Box is a monthly subscription of literary inspired items. Every box contains a t-shirt and 3-4 other literary items. The Bookish Box now offers the option to have a YA book included in your box! When you sign up, you’ll have the option to select one of multiple box options.

This month’s theme is Into the Forest. Each item in this box comes from a story that is related to theme. I received 8 great items this month.

DEAL: You can save $3.50 on your first box with coupon code WELCOME or save 15% on your entire subscription with coupon code HELLO.

The first item in this month’s box is a new addition to the monthly box, a calendar set! Each month, the box will include the next month’s calendar. This box came with August’s calendar and it was designed by Hey Atlas Creative. I found them very useful and I like that each one is uniquely designed. This month’s calendar has a quote from Jasmine in the Disney movie Aladdin.

My next item is a little something by The Bookish Shop. It is a tote inspired by Parks & Rec. It is large enough to hold a couple of books for a trip to the beach or park. I like the quote by the Pawnee Goddesses, “Enemies of fairness and equality hear my womanly roar.” I will be using this tote on my next outing to the springs.

My next item is a little something for snacking and travel. It is a tumbler inspired by Percy Jackson by The Bookish Box.  Inside the tumbler was a snack to try out from Parm Crisps. Luckily this time my tumbler came with no flaws and will surely be in the rotation for work cups. I tried the Parm Crisps and I must say they are not for me. Just a bit too much Parmesan. The crisps are keto friendly and have multiple uses.

My next item is from The Bookish Box also. It is a Rose Gold Bangle. It is inspired by the movie UP. ” Adventure is out there.” Yes, it is. You just have to get out there or dive into a good book. I found the bangle absolutely adorable. A little small for me but I do love rose gold. It will look great with any summer outfit or be a great gift.

My next item is a magnet inspired by the Shadow Falls series and designed by The Bookish Box. The series is authored by C-C  Hunter.  The series is about camp for troubled youth set in the woods but that’s what the outside world thinks. It really is a camp for teens of the supernatural (werewolves, vampires, etc). The magnet is a great new addition to my collection my refrigerator and I love the design.

The next item in the box is a cache of bath salts. It is made by Cherry Pitt Crafts. It smells divine. All their crafts are homemade with different themes and organic. I haven’t had a chance to try it out yet but I will very soon Possibly tonight after the day I have had.

This month’s shirt was designed with inspiration from The Darkest Part of the Forest by Holly Black. The story is about knights, fairies, and how a young girl must save her world. I find all the t-shirts to be quite comfortable and durable.

Once there was a girl who vowed she would save everyone in the world.

If you are a book person then you may have spent half your life immersed in books. I find them a great way to escape reality.

I upgraded my box to include the book! This month’s book is Wild Blue Wonder by Carlie Sorosiak. This a book about teenage love and loss. I am just starting this book and I am already caught up in it.

Last June, the summer camp Quinn’s family owns in Winship, Maine, was still a magical place. A place where wild blueberries grew no matter the season, a legendary sea monster lurked in the waters, and Quinn fell in love with her best friend, Dylan. Then the accident happened.

Now it’s winter, the magic has drained from Quinn’s life, and she knows it’s her fault. But the new boy in town, Alexander, doesn’t see her as the monster she believes herself to be. As Quinn lets herself open up again, she begins to understand the truth about love, loss, and monsters—real and imagined.

Don’t forget about the monthly doodle by Christina.com.  It fits right in with this month’s theme. I haven’t colored mine just yet.

Well, thanks for reading my review. I am off to read more books. Keep reading and adding pages (and friends) to the story of your life.
