Sealed with Irish Love Box is a subscription box bringing the heart of Ireland to you, no matter where you are in the world. I don’t know what it is about Ireland that just makes me feel so warm and cozy — I don’t have family there but I have dear friends, and honestly they are that same kind of warm and cozy. So I guess that’s why!

Sealed with Irish Love Box was created by Máire, a designer in Ireland who started with her own line of homewares and eventually launched this box. It’s a way to support wonderful Irish crafters, makers, and small indie businesses. I always get really excited when I receive a box!

At the top is a large card thanking new subscribers.

DEAL: Use IRISHLOVE for €10 off a 3-month subscription!

The information sheet is incredibly thorough and detailed. I love reading information cards and sheets! You really get to know the people behind the items included and learn more about their lives and businesses.

Sealed With Irish Love Notebook ($8) — Box founder Máire has her own small business where she creates and designs a variet of stationery items, housewares, and other bits and bobbles. This simple lined notebook is adorned with bird feathers!

The bottom of each page has a little doodle of a heart, arrows, and a shamrock. There are 160 pages, lots of room for journaling!

Brid O’Kane Printed Tea Towel ($11.70) — Brid O’Kane is an embroidery artist who uses a variety of other mediums like paints, fabrics, etc to enhance her stitched artwork. We were sent a few of her creations!

This map of Ireland is rendered in a variety of green-toned cheerful fabrics, and the design is then printed onto a handy tea towel! My kitchen is green, so this lovely towel will fit in perfectly with my decor.

Brid O’Kane Greeting Cards — Two blank greeting cards featuring more of Brid’s embroidered artwork. I absolutely love the green fairy! I can’t believe all of these designs are stitched; they really do look like paintings.

Sam agus Nessa Bee Tealight ($16.37) — We were sent another design by this twosome of artists in the February box. The information sheet actually erroneously mentions the previous heart tealight, when this time we were sent an adorable little bee! He is crafted out of locally sourced Irish timber, and has sunny stripes made from gold leaf!

King’s Forge Glass Shamrock Suncatcher ($18.14, similar linked) Kings Forge Glass was established near;y 100 years ago in Co. Monaghan and currently is operational thanks to current owner Grace Brennan. Each piece she makes is one of a kind, handmade with care. We were each sent a traditional glass shamrock presented in a lovely blank card with envelope. You can display it in the card, frame it, or remove the piece to hang by the window to catch the sun! I love how it looks, and it really does catch the light!

The shamrock is made of three glass hearts which are then attached to the stem.

I genuinely get so excited when I see this familiar blue shamrock-spotted box at my door. It’s such an incredible subscription because of how much care goes into the curation — everything has a story behind it and we get to learn about the artisans and crafters who made them. This box is really a treasure, and if you love Ireland or even just well-made, beautiful items, definitely give them a try.
