Purchasers will also get access to an exclusive live-streamed beauty crash course, plus a limited-edition beauty bag, informational SMART cards for each product, and a SMART pass good for 50 bonus Beauty Insider points with in-store purchase.
The PLAY! SMARTS by Sephora Superfoods: Feed Your Face box is still available!
We were welcomed by the box’s set of directions on how to enjoy it and the pack of Play! cards.
After I removed the card, there’s the Sephora pouch with the items in it. There are no added pads for shipping or squiggles.
We are welcomed by this pouch.
The crash course will be available on Sephora’s Youtube channel.
In case you miss out the live broadcast, you will still be able to access the replay anytime. I wasn’t wowed by this – I would expect this content to be purchaser-only.
This card is a PLAY! Pass that will get you 50 extra Beauty Insider points with a purchase from the box, in-store only.
Everything in my Limited Edition box!
The Sephora pouch has a velcro patch closure.
Tarte Mermaid Skin Hyaluronic H2O Serum ($8.40) The serum is a vegan and lightweight hydration serum that instantly moisturizes dry, parched skin. It also offers a solution for dullness, uneven texture, fine lines, and wrinkles.
It deeply moisturizes the skin without feeling greasy. It has a clear formula and also contains hyaluronic acid, vitamin B5, and marine plant extracts to provide protection to the skin.
Apply the serum generously to face and neck as needed for instant hydration. You can layer it under your moisturizer or use it alone. It also has a separate resealable plastic. Tarte has always been known on having elaborate and fantastic themed packaging. Love this product for targeted hydration and skin-plumping.
The cards are colorful! They provided us illustrated cards with open blanks to write our thoughts on.
Origins Dr. Andrew Weil For Origins Mega-Mushroom Relief & Resilience Soothing Treatment ($5.88) It is a light, soothing lotion (very liquidy!) for sensitive skin that offers a solution for redness and dryness. Ingredients include reishi mushroom, fermented Chaga, and Coprinus mushrooms which are used for centuries in traditional Chinese medicine. The formula is alcohol-free and ph-balanced. It helps strengthen and improve resilience for a healthy-looking skin.
Just gently shake the bottle and pour a pea-sized amount onto fingertips or cotton pad and apply. The lotion has a watery consistency and very fluid so be careful on spilling or pouring too much. You can use it morning and evening or an overnight treatment mask if desired.
Along with the illustration, we also have trivia and small interesting information about them. For this card, they decided to feature the lotion’s ingredients, Reishi mushroom and Chaga mushroom.
Youth To The People Superberry Hydrate And Glow Oil ($5.50) Packed with rare antioxidants, this face oil leaves your skin healthy-looking and with a velvety finish. It offers solutions for dryness, dullness, uneven texture, and uneven skin tone.
The ingredients include açaí and goji combined with Maqui, which is the most anti-oxidant dense fruit in the world, to create a potent elixir. It also has prickly pear and squalene oil with omega fatty acids and high levels of vitamin C. It has a perfect balance of jojoba and sunflower oil that illuminates and revive dehydrated skin. Even though it is jampacked with antioxidants, it is still lightweight and not heavy on the skin.
Mix one drop into the foundation for a subtle dewy all-day radiance. It will give your skin a hydrating boost for sure. Skip the face primer and substitute it with this oil instead. Don’t worry as it is lightweight, you won’t feel greasy or tacky.
Apply two to five drops of oil into hands after cleansing and press into skin. It is recommended to use day and night for ultimate hydration.
First Aid Beauty Hello FAB Coconut Water Cream ($6.80) Coconut water is utilized in this formula to help charge skin with electrolytes and keep it well hydrated. Aside from being a solution for dryness, it also improves dullness, uneven texture, fine lines, and wrinkles.
It is rich in amino acids, electrolytes, enzymes, antioxidants, and phytonutrients. The noncomedogenic formula is fully absorbed immediately into the skin while hydrocharging. It is boosted with sodium hyaluronate and alteromonas ferment filtrate to reinforce moisture and protect the skin against exposure to different elements.
It is formulated without parabens, sulfates, and phthalates. It is also allergy tested and suitable for all skin types.
Dr. Roebuck’s No Worries Hydrating Face Moisturizer ($13.31) It’s an anti-aging moisturizer that offers a solution for dryness, fine lines, wrinkles, dullness and uneven texture as it hydrates and smoothens skin.
It is lightweight! Formulated to support natural cell regeneration, it contains vitamin E, rosehip oil, hyaluronic acid, and macadamia oil. It repairs damage to soften fine lines, replenishes skin, and offers rejuvenation all day. This is a new brand for me so I was doubly excited about this product.
Gently massage the moisturizer onto the face and neck for fast absorption during morning and night post-cleansing.
Ilia Soft Focus Finishing Powder ($5.31) It’s a lightweight finishing powder that brings matte and soft focus look for a translucent natural-looking finish.
The only makeup product in this box, it has a blend of organic powder and oils that is talc-free to keep skin looking soft while reducing shine. The formulation has aloe leaf extract that is full of mineral and vitamins to keep skin looking soft and supple. It also has rosemary oil and passion fruit which is rich in soothing anti-inflammatory properties.
Its shade name is Fade Into You. It is free of parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and gluten.
You can apply this after concealer or foundation. Use a fluffy brush to evenly smooth it onto the skin.
We always play with makeup, and now they are letting us experience playing with skincare. They collectively offer a perfect skincare routine. Some even can be mixed with makeup or as a substitute primer. They all have a lightweight formula that makes them easier and convenient to use. All of the ingredients are also innovative and very hydrating. I really loved all the goodies in the box but unless you’re super curious, I’m not sure that the class will be really all that huge of a draw – few need a tutorial on applying skincare products. The real draw is the great skincare and the $46 value!
