Courage The Cowardly Dog Pin. This month’s pin features the trademark crazy expression of Courage, an easily frightened dog and the main character of the eponymous American animated horror comedy television series that ran from 1999-2002.
I love the way this pin manages to capture the flailing of his arms as he freaks out.
Office Space T-Shirt. Wow, Loot Crate goes way back! This is reference to Mike Judge’s classic, Office Space. For those that are unfamiliar, it is an absolute must-see send up of cubicle culture. In one of the more memorable scenes, Michael, Samir, and Peter take out their frustrations on the office printer, treating it like Joe Pesci in Casino.
It has a comfortable breathable fabric. I like that they made a Jolly Roger type face out of the broken printer. It’s ironic that it’s printed well on the t-shirt, too! My favorite part, however, has to be that they managed to work in Milton’s stapler and a T.P.S. report!
Justice League Pop Sockets. I’m lucky I got Batman! Just stick this to your phone and pop it out to make a more comfortable grip.
You can use it as a stand or a handle, and it folds fairly flat to fit easily in your purse or pocket.
The pop socket has a strong adhesive double-sided tape that you can peel off. It also comes with a pop socket manual.
It features either the Superman, Wonder Woman, or Batman emblem. This will definitely up your phone’s coolness.
You can stick this to most electronic devices such as phone, tablets, and cases. It is also re-positionable.
Harley Quinn Notebook. This journal features an awesome illustration of Harley Quinn in red and black. It has a total of 80 blank pages.
The back of the journal also features Harley Quinn’s logo and name.
We love that it’s blank because it’s good for drawing and free-form notes. The insides of the covers have another great Harley print, too!
Total Mayhem Morty Figure. This is an exclusive item from Loot Crate! It’s Morty from Rick and Morty, an American adult animated science fiction sitcom.
Morty isn’t exactly known for staying calm under pressure, but with a grandpa like Rick, who can blame him? Enjoy a regular day in the life of Morty with this figure inspired by promotional artwork for Rick and Morty’s second season!
The figure has 3 parts: the base or stand, the monster, and Morty.
Everything about this is high quality. They captured all the great details of the scene, from the shards of TV screen to the slobber in the monster’s mouth.
The painting of the figurines is superb. The details are impeccable.
The back of the monsters seems to be glow in the dark.
Morty is mortified of course! The figurine captured the essence of this scene.
I love the variety of geek merchandise we received from this month’s Loot Crate! There’s an enamel pin, a pop socket, an exclusive figure, a comfortable t-shirt and, of course, the big Harley Quinn notebook journal that can also be good for drawing. The t-shirt has a 90’s reference, but it’s a classic that still sees regular rotation. They all adhere to the Mayhem theme and kept it exciting at the same time. I’m excited to see what’s next!
