The theme for July’s box was Intention, Manifesting, and Attraction. I appreciate that there was a full list of the items in the box.
The Secret DVD came out in 2006 and I can’t believe I’ve never watched it before, I guess I was too busy back then with two young kids to really get into it, but I believe it is based on the power of positive thinking.
Not really a movie or documentary, The Secret is more of a video seminar, a presentation featuring a series of authors, philosophers, doctors, quantum physicists, entrepreneurs, and spiritual practitioners expounding on the powers of The Secret (probably the most well-known of the presenters is Jack Canfield, author of Chicken Soup for the Soul and The Success Principles). What is The Secret, exactly? “That principle can be summed up in three simple words: thoughts become things,” proclaims writer Mike Dooley, author of Notes from the Universe. Put it another way, it’s The Power of Positive Thinking and how it can be applied to attracting more money, better health, and relationships; in short, happiness.

What a beautiful stone! It is just under an inch long and on a silver-tone chain. Now you can carry carnelian and it’s protective powers with you! Warriors would wear it for courage so maybe I should wear it to a job interview?
Carnelian Crystal Bottle is just a pretty little bottle of pretty little stones that you can place on a desk or dresser to keep you focused on your goals.
Mookaite Raw Crystal Specimen What a cool looking rock!
Mookaite is a type of jasper from Australia that is supposed to give strength to users and increase self-confidence.
There is a nice indentation that fits my thumb perfectly so I just sit and rub my thumb over it while thinking good thoughts.
Orange Fragrance Tea Light Candle looks kind of beat up. I don’t have a tealight holder but a small plate should do the trick.
Australian Pink Clay (find similar item here) This is raw clay for using as a mask, just mix with the liquid of your choice, Inspired Box suggests the orange water shown below.
The orange water was a little perfumey for my tastes so I used rosewater but you could also use other ingredients, just search Pinterest for some ideas. I rubbed it on my face and it was very dark, more like terra cotta than pink. Also, it was kind of messy. I had it all over my sink so make sure you wipe it up quickly. I jumped in the shower to rinse it off and didn’t use a washcloth until I was sure most of it was gone. It didn’t irritate my skin either.
Orange Blossom Infused Floral Water I didn’t see a list of ingredients on this bottle so I’m not sure if it is straight-up orange flower water or a blend. I noticed that when I sprayed it on my inner wrist I could still smell it 5 minutes later. I will use it as a mid-day pick-me-up since I love the scent, but you could use it to mix the mask shown above. According to the paper in the box, this is “pure product from the distillation of Essential Oils” so I will assume that is the only ingredient.
‘Emotional Creativity’ Sacral Charka Oil Blend Smart thinking to place this item in a plastic bag before shipping because it leaked!
Again, I had to turn to the paper for the ingredients in this blend since the oil destroyed the wording on the label. Orange, sandalwood, and neroli essential oils are combined in a base of coconut oil.
It has a rollerball applicator and smells so good, like oranges and orange blossoms and sunshine and light.
Overall I must say I think that Inspired Box put a lot of thought into this box – everything worked well with each other. I really loved the rollerball and the necklace plus the other crystals and rocks are just beautiful. I haven’t watched the movie yet, I tend to be an optimist in the first place but can always use more tips. The candle helped create a relaxing atmosphere while I used the mask. The handout was very detailed and helped me learn about the products sent in this box. I can’t wait to see what comes in the next box!
