Basic MAN is a men’s monthly subscription box that will send you three basics: socks, boxer-briefs and a t-shirt. The box is $19.99 a month and shipping is free for US subscribers and they ship worldwide ($5 to Canada). All you have to do is to choose your size and you are set! Styles will vary from month to month, but nothing too crazy!

The socks are long but they are soft and not too thin. We like that even though there’s some bright color, it’s not overwhelming and a very nice zig-zag pattern… The logo (a palm tree) is stitched to the socks, but it’s subtle and cute. The socks are made with a blend of cotton, polyester, and elastic.
The inside is quite fuzzy, due to the thread changing from one color to the other one.
Next is a pair of boxer briefs which came in a lovely shade of turquoise (more blue than this picture) with a black elastic band. The fabric is quite light and soft. My husband really likes the light feeling, while keeping everything in check. I like the color! It’s a nice change from the usual black underwear that is easier to grab at the store when you run out of decent underwear. This box deals with this problem by making sure you always have nice new underwear every month!
It has an expiry date! Yes, this subscription box reminds you to throw away your old underwear! It’s pretty good, you have almost two years worth of wear!
The last basic item for this month is a black t-shirt. It’s a simple crew neck tee and it also came with an expiry date! The fabric is a blend of polyester and cotton. Starting this month, all the t-shirt are pre-washed, so no worries about shrinkage and it makes them soft and light right out of the bag. We are also happy to say that Basic Man’s tee can go through a lot of wash cycle without losing their colors or shape. And the colors don’t bleed in the laundry.
It’s good until May 2020. My husband was happy to get a black t-shirt, he likes them with plain jeans and on any occasion really.

He also likes the color patches on the socks that make them interesting, but not overwhelming colorful. He also really likes the feel of the underwear, and appreciate that it’s in MY favorite color!
Basic Man is a great monthly subscription box for men who don’t have time to go shopping for new basic items, or who hates it. It’s easy, the items are exactly what you need while being classy and comfortable, and the quality is very nice. This subscription is a great value to renew your basic wardrobe without worrying about it. We like that this subscription is true to the basic, in colors and design, and any guy would enjoy it.
