GLOSSYBOX is a monthly beauty subscription box with at least 5 luxury samples – many full sizes – per month for $21.

TIP: This box is always available through the end of the month, so you can still get this box! Note there may be other variations – this is just one!

NOTE: If you choose to subscribe to a recurring Monthly Plan between the 15th to the end of the month, you automatically agree to the following month’s charge.

The box and its contents look so cute upon opening!

The presentation is so pretty and cool.

I love the all pink squiggles and color scheme of the box.

The box’s theme is also a good pun invitation for summer!

This month’s theme is Beach Please.

There’s a short note from GlossyBox.

The fold out sheet lists the items we got for this month! GLOSSYBOX has a few variations on their boxes, not all will be exactly the same.

Everything in my August box!

SETZ Blot + Translucent Powder Single Dosed Cosmetic Compact ($2.39) It’s a disposable compact loaded with translucent setting powder.

The applicator and powder absorb 7x of the face’s oil. It gives me a matte finish every time.

You can do touch-ups on the go. Just blot and powder to have a flawless finish in seconds.

Pull out the tray and applicator out of the package. Gently shake the excess powder into the included tray and start blotting into the skin. You can dip again as needed. This seems super wasteful – why not just buy a compact?

NCLA Nail Lacquer In I Been Drinkin’ ($16) Look at the gorgeous color! The watermelon pink is perfect for summer! It’s 100% vegan and cruelty -free.

Just apply two coats for full coverage and so it won’t chip easily.

REN Instant Firming Beauty Shot ($18.66) This gel serum that firms and lifts skin for smoother hydrating. The formula also offers a solution for dullness, uneven texture, dryness, and loss of elasticity. It’s an instant pick-me-up that can be great for contouring. It can be reapplied throughout the day. It is cruelty-free, vegan, noncomedogenic and gluten-free.  It has hyaluronans, that support moisture-retention, and phycocolloids to maintain hydration.

Grow Gorgeous Haircare Scalp Detox ($8.94) Packed with a potent blend of plant-based actives, this weekly pre-wash treatment helps keep your scalp healthy and also promotes hair regrowth. Other ingredients include natural castor oil blends, pomegranate fruit enzymes, and white willow bark extract that gently exfoliates the scalp. It has menthol for a great invigorating scalp treatment!

MONU Eye Cool Gel (£26.95 about $34.87) They are claiming that this is an all-around miracle for the eyes as it is brighter and skin rejuvenating. Ideal for all skin types, it restores hydration, especially in the sensitive eye area. Ingredients include arnica, vitamin C, sodium hyaluronate, and ginseng. It’s free from parabens too.

You can put it in the fridge for an extra cooling sensation when used. Use it after cleansing and toning and gently put a small amount into hands and massage until fully absorbed.

VDL Lumilayer Primer Fresh ($10) The coveted translucent finish for primers is already here! This lightweight miracle brightens up the skin and makes it smoother that is a perfect base for makeup. It also helps the makeup not to fade easily and makes it stay all day.

This box is worth approximately $95! I’m glad I got these luxurious items and the curation is tailor-made for summer too. They pretty much covered everything, they have products that represent skin care, hair care, makeup and even nail care. I love the color of the nail polish because it’s bold and youthful. The VDL lightweight primer can be used as a good base makeup. My favorite, the Monu Eye Cool Gel, is preventing my eyes from appearing tired and the fridge trick for extra soothing effect really works! I appreciate that this box introduces us to innovative products too. I’m pretty amazed by the disposable compact for touch-ups on the go. It’s a big help if you can’t fit a compact in your little purse because it’s an oil blotter and powder in one. However, I still prefer to have a go-to face powder compact to avoid waste. The box and the presentation, as usual, is on point!

The only bummer is that we’ve heard that GLOSSYBOX didn’t honor their promo for a free month of Emma & Chloe. Proceed with caution on any GLOSSYBOX deal that doesn’t utilize a promotion code.
