SnarkBox sends a monthly box of sassy cross stitching projects so you can stitch in b*tchy style. Expect sarcasm and cocky sayings in each of the boxes – these aren’t your grandmother’s craft projects! (Unless your grandmother was saucy, you never know.) SnarkBox donates 5% of all proceeds to Lil Bubs BIG Fund for the ASPCA.

Both levels of SnarkBox come with an original cross stitch kit and an original printed cross stitch pattern by MyCatHatesYouShop. They also both come with a sticker featuring one of the MyCatHatesYouShop cross stitch designs, or a similar original design. The Total Smart Ass SnarkBox also includes a small cross stitch gift or accessory (such as a needle minder or small project) and an embroidery hoop, backing felt, and finishing instructions for the included kit.

I am reviewing the Total Smart Ass SnarkBox today! (The other version is called the Basic Bitch!)

The box was pretty cool on the outside, go back a picture and check out the crossed needles! I found my items wrapped in tissue paper and sealed with a sticker.

The sticker had the logo on it, the month, and the subscription level.

All of my items were safe in the box!

I found a business card in the box.

I also found a note about the pattern and how you may use it for yourself, just don’t copy it and try to sell it or mass produce the projects and sell those either.

I received a sticker which is totally cute and not at all snarky, and I love it!

The Total Smart Ass Box includes a bonus for your finished project.

I received an embroidery hoop and some felt, plus instructions.

The Total Smart Ass box also comes with either a small cross stitch gift or accessory and this month it was a greeting card kit.

There were two cards included, one each of black and white, plus thread, envelopes, and pattern.

Treat Yo’ Shelf Kit ($16) My main kit came in a zippered bag, like all the other items, which makes it easy to keep everything together while working on a kit.

My kit came with a needle (to be used with all the projects), thread, 14-count Aida cloth, pattern, and instructions.

I also received a pattern for another project but you need to buy the floss on your own. It provided the DMC floss number so you can get the correct colors.

Here’s a close up of the pattern, which is similar to other patterns I’ve used in the past.

I was very pleased with my box and want to point out that the projects were larger than I was expecting. I thought I would receive little tiny projects but with the exception of the cards, my other projects were roughly 8 x 10, which means it’s going to take me a while to finish each project. I would recommend this subscription to anyone who has plenty of time available to work on their project and who enjoys the relaxing feeling of cross stitching. It’s a great way to pass the time, plus you have some fancy schmancy artwork to show off in the end.
