Slutbox by Amber Rose is a monthly subscription for empowering women and showing off their fierce side to the world. You can get this box for $29.99 plus free shipping anywhere in the US. This subscription box contains unique items that are curated by Amber Rose to help make you feel good from the inside out.

The name of this box is designed to reclaim hateful language about women. You may disagree! You can read more about it on their site or see the page in the zine below that discusses the name of the box. And yes, to go ahead and answer your question – it gets delivered in the mail just like this.

FYI – if it wasn’t already clear, this is a box with adult language and themes and isn’t appropriate to read at work.

SlutBox by Amber Rose is an inclusive, feminist box, built each month to empower, uplift, and celebrate the fierceness of you (and give you all the tools you need to own your space and make your mark).

From beauty, fashion, body, and more, SlutBox is packed with essentials every SLUT needs to feel sexy, confident, and ready for anything. You want it? Oh, baby. We’ll give it to you good.

The items are wrapped in pink tissue paper.

The box itself features an amazing collage of illustrations that feature women.

This magazine is packed with lots of interesting information including a message from Amber herself to her readers, a whoreoscope, a queer dictionary, featured slut of the month and many others.

Amber Rose has given the word slut a different connotation here. This box is all about inclusivity, diversity, ending rape culture, and promoting health and sex in a positive light.

On this part of the magazine or booklet, you will find some of the products included in this month’s Slutbox package.

There’s a feature about all the items in the box. Photos and descriptions are included, as well as retail prices.

For some of the items, they even included tips on how to use them.

On this part of the magazine, you will see a biography or short description of featured personalities.

This is such an interesting spread! The zine shows off queer women who made a difference or made her mark in “herstory.”

“Whoreoscopes” is a feature that provides predictions of the future depending on your Zodiac sign!

This diagram is one of the best parts of the zine. It aims to educate readers about the type of language people should use to refer to others.

The Pride Flag origins and meaning –  it shows different colors indicating different levels of someone’s Pride in terms of sex, life, healing, nature, magic, serenity, etc.

This Queer Dictionary helps readers know about the different types of gender and their definition. It gives insight on how to differentiate each one from the other by providing descriptions of each.

This is really helpful! Wouldn’t it be rad to have a book about a Two-Spirit in this box sometime?!

In this part of the magazine, readers get to learn some proper manners in the section called “Drag Show Etiquette.” Some people don’t know how to behave properly during drag shows, so this segment provides some helpful tips and advice many can use and apply.

A highlight on two  activists that worked equal rights and empowered others to be courageous and be proud of who they are.

This part teaches us how to be better at being an ally of Transgendered persons.

Lastly, there’s a featured Slut of the Month, a person with an inspiring story which others can emulate or draw strength from. On the pink corner are pictures of different “sluts” wearing the same black shirt to empower each other and celebrate their uniqueness.

Also included in the box are coloring cards. This one features an encouraging message.

At the back is another illustration you can color. It features the Slutbox logo.

The rectangular coloring card features more interesting illustrations on the theme of equality.

Everything in the box!

VYE Eyewear SlutBox Sunnies ($40) Summer is here and we got a pair of sunnies which arrived in a nice pink bag with the Slutbox logo on it.

I love how chic these sunnies are, because of the cat-eye frame. They’re unique, that’s for sure.

I love that the lenses are polarized to keep my eyes safe from the harsh sun and have UV protection.

Kush Queens Love CBD Bath Bomb  ($5) Bath bombs make bath time more fun and this one takes it to a whole new level with its organic essential oils, cannabidiol, sodium bicarbonate, magnesium sulfate, citric acid, cornstarch, extra virgin olive oil, and natural colors. It oozes with sensuality, whether you are enjoying it alone or with your partner. Mine was missing the label.

Rouse Condoms 3-pack ($9.99 12pack; $2.50) This latex condom is lubricated and has a reservoir tip. It’s super thin, so it’ll feel like nothing is on at all. I think it will be great if they include a sampler every month – nothing like trying out new ones!

Kush Queens Ignite CBD Lube  ($49.99 Full-Size 30mL; $5.00 on the card -foil packet) SlutBox made sure that some intimate moments won’t be wasted with this foil packet of lube. What makes this different from other lubes is that it makes use of Amplifi Nanotechnology for instant result – and it has CBD.. It’s also paraben-free and petrochemical-free. This is definitely a new to me product!

Over EZ The Hangover Pill ($5) Packed with zinc, magnesium, and the amino acid L-cysteine, this pill promises to eliminate hangover including being tired, cranky, and nauseated.

It can be taken during your first drink or during alcohol consumption. Other ingredients are milk thistle, chicory root, amla extract, Chinese dates, grape extract, and beet juice. I have a small collection of these from various boxes and I feel like I’m all set up to be a secret agent now.

BEECAUSE Rose & Pink Mask ($7.50) I feel like I’m in for a luxurious facial tonight with these face masks. I am a huge fan of organic products and this one is definitely a surprise for me. It’s made from activated charcoal and bentonite clay which can draw any impurities from the skin.

What is this mysterious black pouch? SlutBox certainly knows how to keep us guessing.

Inside the pouch, you’ll get a gorgeous card from Ella Paradis.

It also contains a coupon code for 20% off on your next purchase.

Bijouz Indiscrets Tickle Me Tickler ($10.32; $7.50 on the card) Adding a bit of fun to your foreplay is this tickler featuring fine feathers.

The softness of the feather is exquisite.

Dr. Lip Bang Lip Freak Buzzing Lip Tint  ($7.99) I can tell that this is a one-of-a-kind type of lip balm not just because of its packaging, but also because of the flavored lip tint that comes with a buzz. I love it!

That tingling sensation on your lips and the colored tint will make your lips look ready to be kissed.

It comes in a black tube with that carnival themed text.

RealHer Lip Liner I Love Myself ($12.50) Aside from the “I love myself” text on the body of the lip liner, I like it because the formula easily glides on my lips.

The lip liner is creamy and well pigmented. It’s free of chemicals too.

What’s even better is that you’ll get a card from RealHer where they will be donating 20% of their earnings in this month’s box to the LGBT Center of Orange County. What a great idea!

Note Cosmetics Smokey Eye Pencils – colors vary ($8.99; $10) This double-sided eye pencil is perfect for creating smokey eyes.

It comes with a smudger too. The pencil has a soft texture so it applies really smoothly.

Here are the swatches! On top is the lip liner, followed by the eye pencil.

Dirty Beauty Reveal Exfoliant ($12) This exfoliant in powder form is oat grain and fruit based. You can use it by mixing with water, aloe, or yogurt. It was formulated to gently cleanse and exfoliate your skin, then leave it softer, smoother, and more vibrant. Since it contains lavender, the exfoliant has calming properties too.

EMK SKincare Aurora Cleanser ($35) A cleanser in cream form, this one removes impurities that are present in the skin while keeping the natural oils still intact. It deeply cleanses without any harsh ingredients. After cleansing, leaves the skin radiant and smooth.

The formula also has lifting and firming peptides, as well as botanical extracts that contain anti-bacterial properties.

It feels really good on the skin when you apply it, no greasy residue!.

It’s paraben-free, fragrance-free, and lanolin-free.

June is Pride Month, so this month’s box is all about equality. Slutbox encourages people to embrace who they really are, boosting confidence not just in terms of intimacy but also in taking care of one’s self. The zine is absolutely a great read! It was educational, especially when it comes to understanding LGBTQIA. Also, the items are not just about sexual health but for pampering and body care as well.

This box certainly isn’t for everyone, both in content and name, and I feel like it’s still finding its footing – is it an adult box? A beauty box? A bath box? I guess the best way to describe it is a holistic self care box – including your sexual side. I wish the items were more reflective of the messages in the zine – like even a PRIDE tattoo or tote bag would have been super rad. BTW for anyone that’s wondering, most people can’t actually tell that the box says Slutbox – my neighbor brought our packages in when this box arrived and I was like OMG oops! and she was all what!?!?!! I had to point out exactly what it said (and then she died in paroxysms of laughter). I feel like after they start getting past their set items for the first few boxes they may be changing the mix some, so I’m really looking forward to what that might bring.
