Slutbox by Amber Rose is a monthly subscription for empowering women and showing off their fierce side to the world. You can get this box for $29.99 plus free shipping anywhere in the US. This subscription box contains unique items that are curated by Amber Rose to help make you feel good from the inside out.

The name of this box is designed to reclaim hateful language about women. You may disagree! You can read more about it on their site or see the page in the zine below that discusses the name of the box. And yes, to go ahead and answer your question – it gets delivered in the mail just like this.

FYI – if it wasn’t already clear, this is a box with adult language and themes and isn’t appropriate to read at work.

SlutBox by Amber Rose is an inclusive, feminist box, built each month to empower, uplift, and celebrate the fierceness of you (and give you all the tools you need to own your space and make your mark).

From beauty, fashion, body, and more, SlutBox is packed with essentials every SLUT needs to feel sexy, confident, and ready for anything. You want it? Oh, baby. We’ll give it to you good.

The items are wrapped in pink tissue paper.

The box itself features an amazing collage of illustrations that feature women.

SlutBox encourages women to exercise their right to vote.

It’s nice that SlutBox makes it easy for their clients to update their voter’s registration through their services. It’s convenient and promotes empowerment in women too.

If you haven’t applied for a voter’s registration yet, this month’s SlutBox comes with the form. Fill it out and send it in and you’ll be able to vote soon enough. It’s awesome!

This magazine is packed with lots of useful information!

Amber Rose has given the word slut a different connotation. This box is all about inclusivity, diversity, ending rape culture, and promoting health and sex in a positive light.

This month’s theme is Let Freakdom Ring.

This part of the magazine features the products included in this month’s Slutbox. Photos and descriptions are included, as well as retail prices.

For some of the items, they even included tips on how to use them.

There’s also an ad about SlutWalk happening in October.

This spread tells us the story of HeadCount, an organization that aims to make it easy for people to register to vote. They work with musicians.

On the next pages are more advice for voters, whether new or not.

This timeline is about the history of voting rights in the US.

“Whoreoscopes” is a feature that provides predictions of the future depending on your Zodiac sign!

We’re missing the Queer Dictionary this month, but they included a feature about 25 Ways To Get Political.

Of course, there’s the self-care section too!

Lastly, here’s a featured Slut of the Month, a person with an inspiring story which others can emulate or draw strength from.

Everything in the box!

Feminist Sticker Club Equality 4 All ($3) This sticker is one way for you to show your support for equality.

JJ Young By Caolion Lab Mud Sheet Mask ($5) Sheet masks are great me-time staples. This rosehip sheet mask promises to help strengthen your skin while regulating the amount of oil on it.

You only need to put it on for 20 minutes and you’re good to go.

Candy Prints I’m Horny! Cherry Lollipop ($2.95) Well, this lollipop surely gets the message across. It’s in cherry flavor.

Art Naturals Rose Hydrosol ($12.95) Compared to essential oils, this formula is gentler on the skin and can be sprayed directly on your skin without the need of diluting it. This can be used as a body mist, hydrating toner, or along with your other skin care products. I love the lavender scent, as it helps me feel relaxed and calm. This is a great addition to my before-bedtime routine!

Mixed Chicks Morning-After Redefining Foam ($6.30) A few shots from the pump applied on your hair will definitely wake those curls up and none will be the wiser that you are nursing a hangover. We have to look great the morning after, right?  I thought it was awesome to include this multicultural brand.

Nelson J Beverly Hills Argan Oil 7 Moisture Healing Hair Mask ($9) It’s a moisturizing and healing mask formulated to help revive damaged hair. The main ingredient is argan oil, which helps detangle hair and control frizz. It also prevents hair color fading and seals split ends.

Skin Chemists Rose Quartz Lip Plump ($33) This lip plumping product promises to improve the texture, shape, as well as the volume of your lips using active ingredients. It’s specially formulated to make your lips more supple and well hydrated.

Appeal Cosmetics Luxurious Lipstick ($29.99) Your lips can do all the talking, and for me, this luxurious lipstick definitely helps. Just check out the name of the lipstick at the bottom of the bottle!

It’s well pigmented, long lasting, and adds a nice texture to your lips.

Unicorn Snot Glitter Gel ($12.99) Who said that we can’t embody our inner unicorn? This unicorn snot glitter gel adds that extra shine to your body and who doesn’t love glitter gel?!

You can see from the texture of the gel that it’s not going to be hard to apply on your skin or your hair even. A little bit certainly goes a long way.

I also got this card from Unicorn Snot.

It contains a $10 off coupon code for an order of $40 and above.

Here’s another discount card from Little Genie and Candy Prints. It gives us 25% off our first online order.

Hollywood Fashion Secrets No-Show Concealers ($10) These no-show concealers are pretty much useful for those occasions when you need to dress fancy and need to be comfortable in it.

There are five pairs of self-adhesive nipple concealers in this pack. They’re disposable too.

Coloured Raine Exclusive Eyeshadow In Goalz ($10) I got the eyeshadow in Goalz. It’s an exclusive Slutbox shade in bronze shade with a shimmery finish.

It’s a full eyeshadow pan!

It’s a universal shade. The eyeshadow also glides easily and doesn’t flake or crease. A simple swipe of this product on my eyelids and I’m good to go.

SlutBox curation for this month is mainly composed of beauty items. Although it lacked self-care items and sexual health products, the overall value was still great. The zine, as always, provides useful information and inspiration. They focused on encouraging people to vote, which is far from the sexuality and equality issues they’ve been tackling in the past months but still an important thing to discuss and promote. I’m still thinking this box would be way better if there were printed items with the great themes they have cooked up (and their illustrations are so awesome) – tote bags, etc. Then again, they’d probably be plastered with the Slutbox logo which subscribers may not be looking for.
