Play! by Sephora recently released a limited edition box for $25! It’s called PLAY! Luxe ’18 Volume 1  and it promised six trial-size luxury products—a $110 value from brands like La Mer and Giorgio Armani —inside of a special-edition beauty bag along with an exclusive PLAY! PASS with 50 bonus points along with a set of “collectible cards.”

The PLAY! LUXE by Sephora Luxe ’18 Volume 1 box is sold out.

Look at this beauty!

It’s a wrap makeup Sephora pouch in elegant metallic pink.

All the items in this month were arranged perfectly in this special bag!

There are additional compartments on the flap.

I think this is better than having the bulky box. What do you think?

We have these PLAYful Luxe cards pack especially made for this box.

When they put La Mer and pure gold in one sentence like that surely makes me want to indulge indeed!

Don’t lose this card! Additional Beauty Insider points won’t hurt.

I love these cute cards and witty puns!

Flip them all and we are in for a surprise! Every card has one image of the full size of the featured product and their short info.

Everything in the limited edition box!

Sephora Limited Edition Pouch. Considering the high-end products in this limited edition curation, this pouch did not disappoint and held up on its own. It looks and feels more substantial than the regular cloth bag, it’s multi-purpose, unique and can certainly be handy for travel.

Just wrap around the long tie of the pouch for closure and insert it on the previous loop to secure the items inside.

YSL Tatouage Couture Liquid Matte Lip Stain Color #1 ($36 Full Size .20 oz. – I’m going with guessing that it’s 1/3 size, so a $12 value) It’s a vibrant pink-red liquid lipstick with a matte finish.

It has a lightweight formula that makes you feel like you are not wearing any lipstick. It is non-drying and long-wearing too.

Even though it’s a sample size, it looks so fancy. You won’t be out of line and you don’t need a lip liner because this has an applicator tip that creates perfectly lined and defined lips.

The swatch of this pigment is bright and bold with my complexion. It’s more like a stain than a full-on matte lipstick. I loved the formulation of this product.

SK-II – R.N.A. POWER Radical New Age Cream ($6.81) It is a hyped moisturizing cream that is good for normal, sensitive and dry skin. It maintains the skin’s youthful appearance and has solutions for fine lines and wrinkles, loss of firmness and elasticity and dullness and uneven texture.

It has a velvety consistency that restores skin’s suppleness with intense hydration by a combination of Radical New Age Complex that creates firmness, Pitera that is rich in vitamins, minerals and amino acids, Chlolleragen and Palmitoyl Pentapeptide that reduce the appearance of wrinkles and shea butter.

A little goes a long way!

After you cleanse and tone, apply this firming and wrinkle treatment both in morning and evening. Dot it in your forehead, cheeks, chin, and neck. Spread across the entire face, massaging the skin to maximize absorption (it does absorb quickly!).

Guerlain – L’Or Essence D’Eclat Primer ($12.33) We now know the feeling of having gold as a part of our makeup and skincare routine.

Infused with pure 24-carat gold flakes, this complexion-perfecting primer is a cooling gel that sinks into skin and retains moisture. It is ideal for normal to dry skin types as it smooths the fine lines and tightens the look of facial features. It also provides an even finish under makeup.

A little of it goes a long way so we must maximize the use of this luxurious 5ml primer. It made my skin smooth and while I’m not buying gold to rub on my face, I’m indulging!

La Mer – The Eye Concentrate ($43) It’s a concentrated eye cream that offers solutions for dark circles, dryness, fine lines, and wrinkles. The formula is free of parabens, sulfates, and phthalates.

It is a rich emollient formula that hydrates and conditions that give you a healthy-looking skin. It has Hematite that visibly improves dark circles, uneven skin tone, and discolorations. It also has Miracle Broth that focuses on skin repair and Radiant Ferment that brightens, clarifies and supports skin collagen and elastin. Just dab a small amount and gently sweep it onto eye area morning and evening. Loving testing out this pricey product that I’d never buy for myself! Plus the tube is full, so I’m doubly pleased with this posh goodie.

Giorgio Armani – Eyes to Kill Classico Mascara ($6.40) This is an Allure Best of Beauty Award Winner for being an all-in-one mascara that provides volume, length, and definition. It instantly gives us the lush lashes we want.

The mascara is formulated with a blend of hard and soft waxes to give volume to the lashes and at the same time leave the lashes soft and flexible. It has an oversized patented lash brush that has bristle weave design that creates a striking lash look with fewer strokes.

The mascara has a card backing with its illustration and short info translated to different languages.

Apply the mascara in zigzag movements for thick, full lashes. Its asymmetrical applicator allows a good amount of formula to be loaded onto the brush. This mascara lives up to the hype and I’m glad it’s not too expensive because this is splurge-worthy!

Atelier Cologne In Iris Rebelle ($10.4) The cologne has powdery florals with key notes of iris from Morocco, orange flower absolue from Tunisia, and gaiac wood from Paraguay.

The packaging features the illustration of a flower like its sophisticated, feminine scent.

It comes in a 4ml spray and not the usual rollerball samples.

It is a blend of notes from different natural raw ingredients. Aside from the key notes, it also has bergamot from Calabria, black pepper from Vietnam, rose centifolia from Grasse, lavender from Provence, and patchouli from Indonesia. It is like an experience of touring around the world contained in this fragrance bottle.

This has a very refreshing and floral scent that you just have to let it bloom on the skin.

Seriously, take a good look at this luxurious curation! I can’t get enough of this. From the presentation to its contents, it sure screams posh!

This limited edition box gave us the best sample products of high-end brands. It’s a good feeling to indulge yourself without breaking the bank or feeling guilty for overspending. For the $25 I spent, I got items worth of about $91. It’s great that the items came in a unique chic rose gold pouch than in a box. I think regardless of what you put inside that pouch, it will look elegant anyway. It’s hard to pick a favorite out of the goodies… except for the La Mer and my new favorite mascara! I’m not even bummed out that they’re samples only because all of them are essentials to the basic skincare or makeup kit and I actually liked that they are in travel sizes.
