Let’s get straight to the point. This box is for you to relax and enjoy!

I love the name and the logo. It’s a great take on the much debated Oxford comma.

I already know it is going to be a great box. How could it not when there is a picture of someone blowing a bubble?

The June theme is “Enjoy.” The information card changed from a card to a booklet. The inside of the booklet has the curator’s letter, products, and moms to follow on social media.

The outside cover lists self-care tips and social media reminders.

Here are the items in the June Oxford Momma Box.

I hope they continue to wrap the books as their subscriber’s base grows. It is lovely to open something that I did not wrap or help wrap.

My entire family found I Love You with All My Butt by Martin Bruckner ($12.95, $11.25 Amazon) to be hilarious. Amazon describes the colorfully illustrated book as

Martin Bruckner is an artist and father who not only recorded the sayings of his daughter, Harper, but used each as the inspiration for a work of art. After posting them on social media, Bruckner became the artist that other parents sought out to transform their own children’s funny words into artwork. Collected here are 100 mini-posters of pure delight, a marriage of the children’s surprising wisdom and the artist’s nimble style, plus the occasional backstory that amplifies both.

Every parent will recognize the spirited declarations of personality—“I’m training to be a wolf.” The endearing mangling of language—“Mommy, I don’t need your mouth to talk to me right now.” The creative mixing of metaphors—“I need a tissue to wipe my feelings.” Those precious, heartbreaking outbursts without guile or filters—“I only love you at the toy store.” Illustrated with sweetness and whimsy, each is a window into the irresistible innocence of childhood, even if the sentiment is “Dad, please wipe the bum of this beautiful princess.”

Our nine-year-old son selected the above as his favorite page. We had a great time reading it together.

It’s another gift! I was excited to untie the bow and see what was inside. I never look at the information card until after I open up everything in the box.

I cried a little when I saw This Mom Enamel Pin by Drawings By Nicole ($12.00.) I must have said, “I am doing the best I can,” many times over the past nineteen years.

It’s the first pin that I received that I wanted to put on my purse.  Drawings by Nicole also offers the Weird Mom Club Box which looks interesting.

I am reapplying to school to finish my degree. I tried to finish it before when the kids were younger, but it was too much. I am keeping the I Can and I Will Watercolor Art Print by Joha ($3.00) at my desk to encourage me.

Joha, a Colombian artist with Graphic Adventure, also designed the Now or Never Notepad. Ironically, it is also a line from a song that got me thinking about going back to school.

It’s my life

It’s now or never

I ain’t gonna live forever

Our 9-year-old son lacks the proper appreciation for 80s music while our 19-year-old son loves it. However, they both think it is cool I want to go back to school as long as it is not the same school as the one that my older son is attending.

Two pencils were included with the pad.

No need to worry about the kids using them because they are pink!

The Made in the USA Moi Candle Company Clean Cotton Soy Candle ($18.00) has the scent of dreams. Dreams of clean laundry! This month’s candle has a wood wick which crackles while burning. The hand-poured soy candle is exclusive to the Oxford Momma Box. The luxurious candle has a burn time of 30 to 45 hours.

The June bonus is Bubble Bubble Pop Sheet Masks from MaskerAide (2 for $11.00.) The formulated in Canada, made in Korea charcoal masks form lots of bubbles while deep cleaning your skin.  The cruelty-free mask is also free of parabens and artificial pigments making it a guilt-free gift to share with a friend.

The June Oxford Momma box brought laughter and encouragement into my life. The book made me laugh. The notepad, pin, art print, and pencils encouraged me. Yes, I used the underappreciated oxford comma! Lastly, the candle and sheet masks provided for a relaxing night.  It’s an excellent box for mothers of all ages who desire to take time for themselves.
