Kawaii Box, from the same company who runs Japan Candy Box, is a monthly subscription featuring cute items ranging from plushies to stationery and everything in between. Each box has 8-10 kawaii items, with featured brands including Sanrio, SanX, Popin Cookin’, Rilakkuma, Totoro, AlPacasso, HiChew, Pocky, and more. They offer a monthly plan, a 6-month plan, and a 12-month plan. Shipping is free worldwide.

DEAL: Save $5 on any subscription with coupon code NATSUMATSURI!

All the items are nicely wrapped in a tissue paper.

The box is full of kawaii-ness to the brim!

Summer Festival! Here is the information card that was included in the box – even the card is super cute!

Kawaii Box always includes 10-12 fun & totally adorable goodies.

Everything in my box!

Syringe Highlighter Pen. What I love about kawaii goodies is that they make the most ordinary things to extraordinary. Just check out this highlighter pen that looks like a syringe! I got it in yellow!

Remove the cap at the bottom and you will see the felt tip end of your highlighter. You’ll probably confuse some people with this pen but it’s all for fun!

Sanrio Characters Washi Tape. Washi tapes are a must-have for all crafters. And because they are popular, this month’s box also has a washi tape from Sanrio!

The washi tape is in pink.

It’s filled with images of My Melody, and some Japanese words.

Kawaii Unicorn Nail Stickers. It’s a set of unicorn nail stickers. I can see some rainbows, hearts, and stars too.

The back of the packaging includes instructions in English, as well as illustrations.

I love the quality of these nail stickers. They’re really small, but they’re easy to use!

Sweet Donut Hair Ties. Even hair ties are transformed into something kawaii. This pair comes with a donut-shaped design.

They really captured the glazed surface of the sweet treat. How cute!

Sanrio Pyoconoru Hanging Plushie. It’s a plushie which you can hang off a shelf or a table. We got Keroppi!

It has an oversized head and embroidered eyes and nose.

It’s made with polyester fiber and glass foam bead. The plushie was sewn well too. This got swiped by my 16 year old niece faster than we could prop him up for a picture!

Gudetama Stickers. Our favorite lazy egg is featured in this fitness-themed sticker sheet.

Even the packaging is adorable!

It looks like Gudetama is having a hard time exercising. I love that each sticker has its own unique look.

I like the sticker where Gudetama got a heaping of mayo on its head.

Flamingo Multicolor Pen. This fancy multicolored pen features a cute swan on top. It’s quite thick so it can be tough to hold for little hands.

Here’s a close up of the swan on the top of the pen which gives it that cute vibe.

Mochi Squeeze Toy Charm. Mochi is a favorite snack in Japan. They love it so much that they even made a mochi squeeze toy like this one. It arrived in a box that made it look like a real mochi!

It’s round and really white. It also comes with a ball chain so you can easily attach it wherever you like.

DIY Whipped Cream Cupcake Kit. We love DIY stuff from Japanese boxes and this cupcake kit is not an exception. The pack contains all the tools and items you will need to create your own delicious cupcake snack.

There’s whipped cream, cupcake holders, tongs, and other cupcake making accessories.

We even got a container filled with cupcake decors!

We also made some macarons with blue air dry clay!

The end results are so cute – completed and decorated by a 16 year old, 11 year old, and 9 year old.  The results are really incredible!

Kabaya Watermelon Gummies. The watermelon gummies are chewy and fruity!

Each piece is coated with sugar.

As usual, Kawaii Box is filled with fun, interesting, and quirky items from Japan. Aside from the Sanrio items, I’m really happy that there were snacks included. If you’re a sucker for anything kawaii, this subscription is a must try! Perfect for kawaii-loving adults but also a mega-hit with kids that love cuteness!
