Information about the individual items is listed in this booklet. Each item is thoroughly discussed. There’s a description, as well as usage instructions, and a list of ingredients used.
It has the images and their corresponding retail price (this is new!).
I find this booklet interesting and really informative, plus it really gets you into the theme!
Everything in this month’s box!
FCS Spare No Expense Body Milk ($13.99) It has blended scents of bergamot, lemon, orange blossom and Isla Nublar sea mist. The consistency is light, rich, and creamy. A little goes a long way. It does not feel tacky and can be absorbed by the skin quickly. The formula intensively nourishes dry skin, just apply as needed.
FCS Life Finds A Way Moroccan Oil Hair Detangler ($10.99) This hair detangler smells divine with juicy apricot and smooth base notes of white oak and sandalwood. It makes hair smell fresh and feel soft. It is also packed with nourishing vitamins and minerals, leaving the hair manageable and detangled.
Just apply a generous amount to clean, damp or dry hair with your fingers or you can comb through a wide-toothed comb. This wasn’t really for my fine hair so I passed it to my niece, who has a gorgeous mane of fluffy thickness!
FCS Preserved In Amber Exfoliating Body Wash ($7.99) Packed with walnut shell and apricot powder, this body wash has a mild exfoliating effect. It is also enriched with aloe oil to keep the skin moisturized. It has notes of amber, pink jasmine, mandarin, and tropical cassis berries.
FCS Must Go Faster Car Freshener ($7.99) Aside from bath and body products, we got a car freshener this month. It is highly concentrated so a few sprays will do. It has combined scents of orange rind, thyme, lemongrass, and avocado. You can do one to 2 sprays for normal sized vehicles and 3 for large ones. I am a little iffy on using this in the car because of the citrus fragrance, so I’ll probably use it for a trash can.
FCS Clever Girl Perfume Oil ($12.99) This handcrafted perfume oil has a good blend of strawberry jam, apple rose petals and vanilla bean scents. It’s vegan and cruelty-free.
It comes in a bottle with a rollerball, so you can easily apply it to pressure points. Gently dab together and it will leave you smelling fresh, fruity, and floral. Clever girl!
FCS Cryo Can Shaving Cream ($12.99) Aloe and coconut oil were combined to help soften hair on the skin and maximize the result of shaving without irritating it.
It has a thick consistency which you can apply on wet skin. Rinse off the excess cream then apply lotion to lock in moisture. I thought this item was hilarious because that’s how they smuggled everything out – in a shaving cream can!
FCS Water Ripples Toilet Bombs ($8.49) These toilet bombs contain hydrogen peroxide that provides cleaning and deodorizing benefits. It also has a pleasant scent to cover up any weird odor, thanks to oud, sea minerals, and dark cedarwood.
Just drop the toilet bomb after flushing and let it stay and fizz out when you want to deodorize. If you want to use it for cleaning, just drop 1 toilet bomb and let it sit overnight and just brush it in the morning. I love these handy and practical items!
Fortune Cookie Soap sends high-quality bath and body items, as well as other fragrant selections. This month, they included a body milk, detangler, exfoliating body wash, car freshener, perfume, shaving cream, and toilet bombs. I’m happy that they didn’t focus on skin care only and gave us products that we may need to freshen up our toilet and cars as well. All of those 7 items are worth approximately $76 and this box only costs $28 a month. I also love that all of the products are made cruelty-free and with a healthy formulation. The theme, the witty names, the information about the products, even the puns are so cohesive that makes their boxes always so fun!
