Each month includes an information card – on one side of the card, Fit Snack provides a workout for the month. I really like these as they help me add some variety to my workouts. I’ll modify them based on my own personal abilities (I can’t do full push-ups to save my life, so I’ll do negative push-ups instead.

On the other side of the information card, there are details about each of the items (and lots of times, a coupon code for buying more of what you like).

Everything in the box!

Rise Buddy – Sea Salt. My husband’s favorite, he’ll ask for them as soon as he sees them. They are baked brown rice chips, crispy, light and satisfying.

Super Seedz Gourmet Pumpkin Seeds – Sea Salt. I love pumpkin seeds, but I usually buy them raw to roast them myself as I find the roasted salted one too salty. These ones were perfect! They had a light dust of salt, not enough to stick to your finger or to feel like you need to drink a ton of water. Just enough to make them taste amazing.

Art of Broth – Vegan Vegetable. I used to drink broth on cold winter night when I was feeling a bit under the weather, before going to bed or just as a pick me up in the afternoon. So I was excited to get to try a vegan version of it and in a convenient tea format!

They come in a little tea bag and you just use them as you would for your tea. Sadly, I’m allergic to one of the ingredients (hello celery) so I have to pass, but I’ve been told that it was delightfully salty with a bit of sweetness and spices.

Flava Bars – Roasted Almond + Himalayan Pink Salt. Delicious chocolate bar with roasted almond chunks. The chocolate is sweet but just enough to balance the bitterness, without hiding it. Because of the hot weather we are having right now, I thought they would be completely melted, but they survived! I really don’t know how.

The list of ingredients is short and straight to the point!

It has more flavanol antioxidants than typical chocolate. Flavanol contributes to cardiovascular health.

We received the almond and salt chocolate, but I’m tempted by their crystallized ginger and saigon cinnamon one.

Fiber Gourmet – Jalapeno Thinables. With 4g of protein, 11g of fiber and 60 calories in a 1oz serving, these are delicious and almost guilt-free, if you can stick to the suggested serving size! My husband and I sat down with this bag and ate the whole thing in no time. It’s cheesy, with a hint of spice from the jalapeno.

I like to have something salty with a bit of kick after a long run, and these would totally fit the bill!

Hawaiian Ola Noni Juice Shot – Energy. I’ve always been interested in Noni, I’ve even started growing my own little Noni trees at some point.

Besides Noni Juice, it contains a bunch of other juices and it shows in the taste. The sweet and bitter taste of the Noni is balanced with the rich sweetness of the pear. It tastes like dark fruits, like figs and grapes. I really liked it!

Purely Inspired – French Vanilla. With 20 g of protein and 7g of Fiber in every shake, with only 2g of sugars, these should help provide you with a nice source of protein. It tastes ok, not like french vanilla at all. It mixes well with water or any kind of milk, but when tried with only water, I had a weird aftertaste in my mouth that I didn’t care for, but the culprit is the Stevia (I don’t like stevia in powder). Overall, it’s a good tasting protein powder.

The June Fitsnacks box delivered a nice assortment of healthier snack alternative to what I would grab at the store! I really enjoyed the pumpkin seeds, my husband loved the Rise Buddy and we both couldn’t get enough of the Thinables. I actually liked everything except for two items which were solely based on personal preferences. A really nice box, with more savoury items than sweets, which I’m totally ok with!
