July Box Theme is Shabby Chic Picnic.
The items are introduced in a lists with their reason for being in this box.
Napkins. You can’t go to a picnic without bringing some napkins with you! I really like the color and they are the right size for wiping your hands, or to hold under your plate or to add some colors to a bread basket. I only use cloth napkins as I find them more useful and you can reuse them so many times!
The next item was wrapped in the same lovely paper than the box.
Paper Straws! I love paper straw and I always try to keep some in my purse to avoid plastic straws and these are just so lovely! I have a thing for polka dots design, and the mix of light blues and soft pink is so fun! And of course, the soft pink goes nicely with the napkins!
Metal Bucket. It’s a bit over 4″ wide and 4″ tall, small enough to fit on a full picnic table, but not big enough to take up ALL the room! It can be used as a decorative pot for a small indoor plant, or be used as a napkin holder on a picnic.
Milk Bottle. You need somewhere to put your paper straws so they don’t roll off the table! Or it can be used for flowers, or reused as chopstick holders! It has a cute little cow on the side.
They look so cute with the napkins and the straws!
Serving Baskets. Although they are cute, and I really like the vibrant turquoise color that goes very well with the soft pink napkins, I feel like they came right out of the Dollar Store. They are made of plastic, very light, and lined with the napkins, they can hold bread, chips, crackers, cookies, veggie sticks, fresh fruit, or be used as individual plates for a sandwich-heavy picnic!
Metal Bucket Toothpick Holder. I don’t usually have toothpick around, but I like the shape of this cute little holder.
Place Cards/Food Labels. These are so cute! I’ll probably use them next time we have a tapas night so everyone knows what’s what! It’s perfect for potluck as well to identify food, and ingredients for those with allergies and special diets!
Metal Bird. Of course, this is my favorite item in this box! I’m a crazy bird lady after all! This little cutie has a weathered look to its white paint, and is quite heavy for its size, even though there’s a hole underneath.
It’s so adorable! It’s also perfect to hold my paper down when I want to work outside!
This is the sneak peek for August. Any ideas what it could be? Romantic Paris theme? That would be delightful!
This was such a lovely box! The color was fun and uplifting, while still keeping a romantic feeling with the garden bucket, the milk bottle the old school napkin patterns and the adorable little birdy! Even though I was a bit disappointed by the quality of the plastic serving baskets, it was the only item I had something negative to say about as everything else was delightful! Everything felt well thought off, and there’s a lot of care going on in the background! I will definitely use everything from this box, even if it’s not for a picnic! A really fun and nice box!
