I’m so excited to review another of CutiePieMarzia’s subscription boxes! It’s a quarterly box curated by CutiePieMarzia, who is an Italian Youtuber. I love her fashion style, so I was really happy to hear she had her own subscription box!

There are 2 versions of this box – the regular one for $29 per quarter, and the Very-Important-Marzipan box for $89. This is a review of the regular box. The CutiePieMarzia box ships from Toronto, Ontario and ships worldwide.

The theme this quarter is MERMAID. All the illustrations on the box and info card are by Bethany Grace!

Ebates $15 Voucher — A referral coupon for $15 on Ebates. I’m not a huge fan of coupons and so on in boxes as part of the value, and I’m not even sure if this works in Canada, which is a bit of a bummer.

Spectrum x Disney Face Brush ($12) — Oh wow, this is beautiful! An official collab with Disney allows Spectrum to make a gorgeous Ariel-inspired brush. You have the red of her hair, the green of her tail, and there is a purple duochrome as well to represent her purple shell bra. What a creative detail. The brush is part of a full set including bag, so it was a bit hard to get an exact value. I’ve based the price off of the regular edition A01 brushes you can buy as singles on the website.

Face and Body Jewels — Fun bling to wear to a festival, pool party, or just for a bit of extra sparkle!

Patches — More lovely adorable art by Bethany Grace! (@toadstoolcheeks on Instagram) Love the happy jellyfish and the little fish. These are so cute, and the colours are so summery.

Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel ($12) A peel containing both AHA from green apples and BHA to exfoliate skin and reveal a brighter complexion. I’ve been using the Drunk Elephant Sukari Babyfacial lately which is a similar product, and it stings my skin when I have it on, whereas this Juice Beauty one doesn’t sting at all so it’s definitely a lesser strength. I’m not crazy about the smell, though! Sort of smells like rotting apples, haha!

IGK Coconut Oil Gel ($15) — A styling gel made with coconut oil to add texture and style. It has a really nice citrus scent and you only need a tiny amount. You can use it on damp hair or dry hair, and I did the latter to get a tousled windswept look. It didn’t leave my hair feeling crunchy!

Two full-size makeup items were also included!

Colourpop Supernova Shadow ($9) — I bloody LOVE Colourpop. Their matte lip colours are awesome, their shadows are buttery soft, and they are so affordable. Moonlight is a very sparkly purple shadow with pink, turquoise, and violet glitter. I wish they had this as a lip colour. Just saying! It dries quickly, doesn’t flake, but rinsed clean with soap easily when I swatched it on my arm.

Tarte Lipstick in Skinny Dip ($21) — A very cool nude tone. I was really impressed with how hydrating this lipstick was in addition to being pigmented.

Swatches of the lipstick and eyeshadow!

The value of the summer box is $84 plus the price of the exclusive patches, etc which are a bit harder to put a price on. The Marzia box is generally high in value, and while the summer box fell a bit short for me (especially as I can’t use the Ebates coupon) it’s still a great box.
