They provided a coupon code that’s valid until 9/30/2018!

The box includes an information card containing all the goodies in the box.

Aside from listing the contents, they also included brief description/comparisons to American snacks that they may have a resemblance to, in appearance or taste.

The bottom of the box encourages you to be bold, be happy, so be a dino!

Everything in my box! That’s a lot to devour!

Animal Kid Cookie. These are compared to American animal crackers, but with way happier faces!

Instead of being shaped like an animal, these crunchies have animals images printed on them. It’s a fun way to make the kids learn about animals too while enjoying munching on them.

Yaokin Salt Flavored Potato Chips. It’s a Japanese snack, but you can see, a teeny Native American is on the packaging. This is jarring culturally and I don’t know anything more about it really.

The chips are light, crunchy, and added with the right amount of salt.

Mogu Chu Candy. These are like Hi-Chew, which are most similar to Starburst, but they’re sweeter and creamier than Hi-Chew.

Inside, bite-sized cola-flavored gummies are individually wrapped in cute strawberry print foils (all their wrappers for all flavors I believe are wrapped in this print). They’re really chewy too but soft and yogurty.

Yaokin 7 Stick – Milk Cream. These are a different take on wafers as they are not just flat out ones, they’re rolled!

The flutes are crunchy and when you snap them, the milky cream filling at the center just oozes out. It was so tasty and creamy!

Kari Kari Caramel Twist. These crispy wheat cracker twists are covered in a generous amount of sweet caramel glaze and sugar.

They smell like sweet sweet donuts too. They’re hard, in a fun way, and so crunchy too, similar to hard candies!

Monster Stamp Candy. To reveal the stamps, you have to lick the bottom of these soda-flavored candies.

The candies have a chalky texture and smell strongly of lime.

Peach Gummy. Another gummy treat we got from this snack box is this pack with a weird-looking mascot.

They are really chewy and they smell really peachy too.

Yaokin Coco Bis. I can tell that this is a hybrid of a sugar cookie and a cracker.

It’s a delicious treat for those who love coffee. The crunchy cookies are candied. The surface looks shiny from the sugar coating that is mixed with a cup of joe.

Noir Black Cocoa. We also got a Japanese version of Oreos! However, the cookies are so much darker and softer than the original.

They still have a good crunch to them, and the filling tastes good too – way better than an OREO!

Choco Flakes. Corn Flakes is a breakfast staple. This pack here doubles everything, even the deliciousness (and it’s not for breakfast!).

The corn flakes bits are smothered in chocolate and I don’t know how else good they’ll get! They’re really yummy, even without the milk!

Okashina Mizu Ame DIY. For the DIY kit, we got this ooey gooey sticky candy kit!

Each package includes 3 pouches of clear liquid candy (lemon, strawberry, and ramune) along with a spoon.

They included a mixing tray where you’ll create your candy experiment. You can also mix the three flavors together to reveal a new flavor!

Sangria Orange Soda. We also got a can of Orange Soda! It’s fizzy, tangy, sweet, and a good way to refreshen up! And it came from the Wakayama Prefecture.

Dynamite Melon Soda. Kaboom! This jelly drink really has an explosive melon taste!

It’s best to chill or put over ice, for an optimum taste!

Furuta Matcha Sandwich Cookie. Matcha is everywhere nowadays, and it’s one of the popular flavors we get from Japan.

These look like a brighter version of Matcha Oreo (those have dark wafers).

The matcha green tea cream is so delectable! You can pair it with your favorite warm drink, even with hot matcha latte!

Yuraku Black Thunder Chocolate. It’s an exciting combination of plain and cocoa-flavored cookie pieces that were mashed together.

It looks like a thin chocolate bar, but it’s really a biscuit bar covered in yummy chocolate!

Itou Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies. Who doesn’t love choco chip cookies? We’re really happy that they included a pack… But of mini ones!

These are really cute miniature pieces of choco chip cookies, and they’re easy to finish off too! Each bite of crunchy cookies definitely brings you to chocolate heaven!

Our first box of Crave Japan is phenomenal! The flavors of everything are REALLY good. I think it’s a step above the usual. I’m impressed with the actual snacks – they were really top notch and there were many things I’ve never heard of or tried before. It’s a great way to stock up on our pantry and have handy snacks that we can also share with the whole family. Also, this box gives us a great experience of how fun Japanese snacking is, and we’ll be looking forward to trying out some more!
