They always send paper filters in case you don’t have an infuser. I use a Teavana Perfecttea Maker but a French press or stainless steel infuser or strainer works well too.

St. Fiacre’s Farm High Desert Hibiscus is an herbal tea and caffeine-free, so I enjoyed it in the evening.
Each of my teas had important information on the envelopes. Ingredients are always welcome but they also list the caffeine level and tea type. I also full steeping instructions, including the amount of tea to use, amount of water to use, temperature of water to use, and steeping time.
What a lovely tea, I could even see the little elderberries! The mint scent is refreshing and the flavor was spot on. Sometimes hibiscus teas are very tart, almost like cranberry juice, but this one was delicious and had a touch of mint too. The color was pretty in pink.

I was going to drink this hot with sugar and milk but after I tasted it I knew it needed to be poured over ice. I think the mint flavor was very prominent and even though I steeped 1 1/2 teaspoons (up from the suggested 1 teaspoon) it was still a fairly light black tea but I enjoyed it more than I thought I would!
I couldn’t find this tea on the Amoda site and it doesn’t have a brand in the upper corner but Green Tropics is a lightly flavored green tea with fruity notes.
I steeped this with water that wasn’t quite boiling for 3 minutes. It wasn’t bitter but had a bit of acidity to it and kind of reminded me of drinking hot apple juice.
Natur’el Coconut Pouchong Tea is made with a lightly oxidized green tea with coconut flavor.
It smelled great in the bag and was a very pale color after steeping. I wasn’t a big fan of this one, I think the coconut flavor was lost when steeping but then green tea isn’t usually my favorite.
I have really enjoyed my Amoda subscription! This was my second box and I enjoy the variety of teas that they sent. I love to drink tea, both in the morning to get me going, in the evening as a way to relax, and as a mid-afternoon energy boost, either hot or iced. Having different caffeine levels plus a caffeine-free herbal tea means I can enjoy this subscription throughout the day. The teas sent were of exceptional quality and didn’t taste fake or smell weird. I would never have discovered these brands without Amoda, and they did an excellent job of searching for smaller vendors. I also appreciate that they gave instructions for serving the drinks iced for summer!
