The June box features products from Kat Von D. She was also on the cover of the handy monthly mini magazine.

The magazine lists each product, the MSRP of the full-sized product, and where you can find more. There was a promo code included for the Kat Von D website.

The magazine also tells you how you can use the products in the box.

My items were tucked into golden yellow tissue paper.

Everything in the box!

Kat Von D Travel Mirror ($10?) I couldn’t find this on the Kat Von D website, but the handheld mirror with a handle is $18. This kind of looks like the lid of one of her makeup compacts, but without the hinge. The back looks similar to a wax seal.

The opposite side is a mirror, perfect for keeping handy in a purse or backpack for touch-ups.

Ole Henriksen Transforming Walnut Scrub ($28) is an exfoliating scrub that is good for all skin types and can be used three times a week as a facial cleanser. It has ground walnut shells and was more coarse than I was expecting since the info booklet said the ingredients were ground into a fine powder.

The scent was similar to cherry almond scented lotion from Jergen’s and when I applied my facial oil afterward my skin felt very smooth.

Kat Von D Studded Kiss Crème Lipstick in Double Dare ($5.59) Look at this cool container, I can imagine whipping this out to touch up my lipstick and feeling like a fierce warrior woman. Don’t mess with me, even my effing lipstick is tough.

OK, maybe I spoke too soon. It dropped onto my carpet as soon as I opened it! I didn’t even twist it up, it was already damaged and there was a lipstick in the lid.

Poor little lipstick. The shade is a brownish pinkish color, or as Sephora puts it, “satin-matte cocoa blush”, that is neutral. Swatched below.

Kat Von D Everlasting Lip Liner in Lolita ($15) I like trying new lip liners, and this one looked like it would go well with the lipstick that was sent.

Obviously, my products didn’t do well while being transported to my house, I guess that’s what happens when you live in Texas and it’s summer. The shade was described as “chestnut rose”. Swatched below.

Kat Von D Tattoo Liner in Trooper ($7.27) I get kind of worried when I receive liquid liners since I tend to get them all over the place while skipping other places and they usually frustrate me, but this was a game-changer!

Look at the tip, it’s like a fancy marker or artist’s paintbrush. I had no problem getting it where I wanted it to go, and I was amazed at my handiwork, my eyes actually looked alluring and had an exotic almond shape when I was done. It stayed on for a good amount of time but it is summer and I live in a hot, humid climate but this was pretty impressive. Swatched below.

On top is the lip liner, next is the eyeliner (both from the tip and along the side), and on the bottom is the lipstick. The lip liner tip broke off when I swatched it, and of course, the lipstick was already a bust.

I thought the June Kat Von D x Allure Beauty Box was fairly good and featured 3 makeup items, 1 item for the face, and 1 mirror. I prefer my boxes to have more of a variety but I get what they were going for here. I was especially surprised at how much I liked the eyeliner and the lip liner will last for a long time. The lipstick is destined for the trash since it probably has cat hairs all over it now. My box had a value of around $65.86, which is fantastic for a $15 beauty box. I’m looking forward to the next box because of the spoilers (Sunday Riley! Organic Pharmacy!) so check out the sign-up page to see what’s in the latest box!
