Template for wire twisting… so cute. Love is what makes the world go round and I think this cursive template is perfect for creating handmade items or as a template for a tattoo.
Shabby chic frame for holding the twisted wire art. I love that this can be turned a few different ways in order to best suit your needs. I actually love this frame and have started looking for more to redo my family picture wall.
Jute Cord (twine).
Fake plant that adds a bit of color to either project. I like that it’s fake, therefore, it doesn’t shed any leaves or need me to remember watering. Fake plants have come a long way and this one is a great replica.
Balloons to give my twine project shape.
Copper wire in 16 gages. This is super easy to work with but not so pliable that it will lose it’s shape if touched. I personally love that copper has an older feel to it and it’s as shiny as gold or silver.
LED light strand.
Hardware to attach to the frame in order to display it proudly on my wall.
Wood Glue. It’s great that this bottle is so large I can cover my hand and then peel it off just like when I was a kid. In all honesty, it’s to dip the twine into so I can create crazy awesome twine art.
Round Nose Pliers. I love that this is a mini set and I can use it with ease.
A work in progress… glue soaked twine on a balloon waiting to dry in the 107-degree heat of an Arizona summer. I hope these look cool one they are dry because right now they just look strange.
It turned out way better than I was expecting and I think I’ll be making more as gifts. I wonder if I could get different shaped balloons in order to make these a little more creative and a lot more me.
I love how much creativity and artistic license are given to me with this box. There are no right or wrong ways to create these projects. I love that they take maybe an hour or two create. It’s a nice treat when trying to get out of the normal routine and I am feeling like a crafting pro. I can’t wait to see what next month brings to my door, hopefully, some painting.
