Target Beauty Box for Men is a one-time online purchase that comes out about twice a year. This one was for June and was $7 plus tax with free shipping. It is sold out now but make sure to sign up for notifications next time they come out!

The presentation is simple, just a bit of tissue paper.

The theme for the June Box is Hello Dapper Dude and the products are supposed to be power products “that’ll kick your routine into high gear”.

I love product information cards so I don’t have to guess what everything is or what it is for. There was a coupon for $3 off of a personal care purchase of $15 or more at Target or Target.com.

Looking good!

Everything in my box!

Method Men Cedar + Cypress Body Wash ($1.13) This is a pretty nice size to pack in a kit for a short trip. Do men use body poufs? If so, I bet this would lather really well. If not, just plop it on a washcloth and let it get to cleaning. The scent smells like a forest but in a natural way, not like Pine-Sol.

Degree Men Ultra Clear Antiperspirant ($0.72) I remember when they came out with a clear deodorant for women that wouldn’t leave white marks on a black dress. This is the version for men. No white streaks on your dark shirt, no yellow stains on your whites. Also smells clean and fresh, and may leave you feeling the same for up to 48 hours.

Dove Men + Care Extra Fresh Body + Face Bar ($0.99) I already buy Dove for sensitive skin and my husband started using it too, but maybe he would prefer this one that’s made for men.

It has an invigorating scent that is uplifting and citrusy. Really, so far all these items have smelled amazing! Just like regular Dove, it’s made with 1/4 moisturizing cream.

Cremo All Season Blue Cedar + Cypress Body Wash ($0.56) Wow, another cedar and cypress scented product (just like the body wash shown earlier)! It says it has “a refreshing woodsy scent reminiscent of an aromatic rain forest”. I think the Method scent had more of a citrus note, while this is more like a men’s cologne.

Nivea Men Creme ($1.04) can be used to moisturize the face, body, or hands so for an overnight trip this one container should do it all.

This has more of a manly scent than the regular Nivea Creme and absorbs quickly without feeling greasy.

Old Spice Spiffy Pomade ($6.89) provides a light to medium hold for hair with a matte finish “for a clean cut look”.

My husband uses gel but this has oils and waxes and may provide some moisture to dry hair. It has the manliest scent of all this month’s products.

Well, my husband will certainly be clean this coming month since 3 out of 6 of the products were cleansers! That’s OK, between mowing the grass and just living in hot and sticky Texas I’m sure they will be used up quickly. The deodorant looks innovative and a moisturizer is always welcome. I can’t wait to see if my husband will wear the pomade, he’s used gel for decades but a change can be nice. The products had a value of around $11.33, sort of like paying for the pomade and getting the other 5 items for free. I must say, they all smell very nice and manly but in a fresh-from-the-shower way, not like romping in a field of flowers.
