The packing is pretty simple, just some wadded up paper that keeps everything safe.

Two items were bottles of oil and they were placed in a bag in case they leaked, but not a drop was spilled.

First peek!

I received 4 full-sized products from Los Angeles-based Organic to Green!

Our roots began in Santa Monica in 2009 with our fine artisan products found locally at Fred Segal and on Abbott Kinney in Venice. Even today, as a healthy lifestyle brand, each artisan creation is still lovingly handcrafted at home first. Our award winning coconut oil products have improved daily routines with simpler ways to care for body, for any age or gender. Organic for body and green for planet. Lovingly made from our family to yours ~ Rianna Loving, Founder

The back of the introductory card listed each product, its retail value, and how to use each item. I like that Pearlesque also includes their own #pearltip for the products.

Everything in my June Pearlesque Box!

Organic To Green Liquid Coconut Oil Jasmin Ylang-Ylang Moisturizing Coco Oil ($42) I like to do a double-cleanse in the evenings and prefer an oil-based product as the first step to remove sunscreen and face makeup. I literally ran out of cleansing oil TWO DAYS before I received this box so it showed up just in the nick of time!

The oil is coconut-based and has several plant extracts such as jasmine and green tea extract. I used it on a cotton pad to remove eye-makeup, and rubbed it all over my face before wiping with a tissue and then used another cleanser after that. It came with a pump for ease of use.

Organic To Green Liquid Coconut Oil Lemon Purifying Coco Oil ($42) is similar to the product above but with different plant extracts, such as lemon peel oil and burdock root.

It’s summer so this stuff is very liquidy but it isn’t supposed to turn solid, even in the winter. There are so many uses for these two products. You can find a list of 25 ways to use coconut oil on the Organic to Green website, but here’s the short list:

  • MAKEUP REMOVER (gently tissue off, repeat)
  • CLEANSER (gently wipe with warm cloth)
  • SHAVING (apply and shave)
  • MOISTURIZER (all over, anytime or after cleansing)
  • HAIR (wet hair, tame frizz)
  • MIX (for extra hydration add to any other product; foundation/lotion)
  • DIY SCRUB (mix with sugar or salt)
  • CUSTOMIZE (blend any 5 coco oils together)

Organic To Green Rainforest Organic Scrub ($8) I love natural body scrubs, and anything with a coconut scent sounds dreamy to me!

There are only two ingredients – sugar and coconut oil! When you run out, just fill the jar with more sugar and mix in one of the two oils that were sent and make your own!

I loved the subtle toasted coconut scent of this scrub and I was also happy that I didn’t need to use a separate moisturizer after I finished my shower!

Organic To Green Arctic Coco Shea Vanilla Skin + Lip Moisturizer ($16) Here’s another multi-tasker that can be used on the lips, face, body, wherever to add some moisture with a light, natural scent.

Super simple ingredients – shea butter, sunflower seed wax, coconut oil, beeswax, plus flavor. I want to point out that the inclusion of beeswax means this isn’t technically vegan.

It has a sort of vanilla-ish scent that reminds me of, well, Play-Dough! Your scent experience may vary!

I am so happy with the amazing products from Organic to Green in my June Pearlesque Box! I love that the coconut oils are so versatile and the sugar scrub smells scrumptious. I liked that the Arctic moisturizer wasn’t too greasy and my skin absorbed it quickly. The value for this month’s box was around $108! For some reason, the scrub says $8 on the Organic to Green website, but Amazon and Ulta sell it for $20 so the value may be even higher.

July’s box will feature products from Sahara Rose!
