Green Goo DOuble Mint Castile Wash ($4.95) This versatile Castile wash from Green Goo makes sure that you are always clean while enjoying the outdoors. It is indeed a camping essential.
There are no harsh ingredients used. Instead, it contains organic oils like coconut oil, olive oil, and sunflower seed oil. You can use this when showering, washing the dishes, or even on your clothes while you are on a nature trip! It’s amazing!
Insect Shield Forager Bandana ($18) The outdoors is home to a variety of insects, and although some are harmless, there are those that can cause health problems too. This bandana will make you safe from these pesky insects when worn!
This bandana has been treated with permethrin insect repellant so you don’t have to deal with mosquitos, ants, ticks, fleas, midges, and chiggers. Make sure that you don’t dry clean this garment so that the insect repellant will still be intact. I’m not sure who would do that, but there it is. The tag also indicates that you should wash treated garments separately from other items, so it’s probably best to just handwash this.
It’s not just useful, the design of the bandana is quite stylish too.
There is more to this bandana than meets the eye. It even teaches you about different plants and how you can make use of them in the wild.
Aside from the list of plants that you can use outdoors, they also come with images of these plants so you won’t mistake them for other dangerous plants. It’s super handy!
UCO Gear Hundred Headlamp ($23.87) This headlamp is a nice addition to my outdoor gear. Any lighting device will help me enjoy the outdoors and stay safe, especially at night.
The headlamp has three lighting options: low, medium, and high. You will need 3 triple A batteries to get this headlamp to operate.
The box contains the headlamp, strap, batteries, and information card on how you can use this headlamp properly.
The headlamp looks amazing when you add it to the strap included in the box. It is lightweight plus the straps are adjustable so you can easily fit it on your head.
The optical lens has independent articulation so you can easily direct the light where you want it. This is handy since you don’t have to bend or turn your head this way and that when you are trying to illuminate a certain spot. It’s great!
In terms of lighting, the LED bulb can give you up to 100 lumens of light which is great for pitch dark places. The simple button can help you switch to low, to medium, or high depending on your needs.
As you can see, the light coming from this headlamp is enough to illuminate enough area where you direct it. I am having fun with this small gadget. This deserves to be taken out for a test run!
Nomadik has wowed me once again with this month’s well-curated outdoor items. It gets me excited about outdoor adventures, and it’s really convenient to discover new gear I can actually use. From this month’s picks, I really like the bandana, it’s such a versatile item that can help me get rid of bugs and inform me about plant uses at the same time. The headlamp is such an awesome item too, it’s useful for night time adventures! If you’re someone who constantly goes on adventures, this would be a fun box to try. Even if you don’t, the items from this box will encourage you to do so!
