Lip Service June 2018 Subscription Box Review

Hello Subscription may earn compensation via links in this post. Read the full disclosure

Lip Service is a monthly subscription that provides one unique lip balm from small Etsy style businesses, and other small surprises per package like makeup pouches, candies, notes of inspiration, tea candles, face masks, and more.

This month’s theme is You Are Magical (like this unicorn!)

There’s also a short note at the back of the card.

Everything in the this month’s Lip Service package!

Torec Collagen Infused Lip Mask – SIMILAR ($5) Sign me up for anything with collagen! It’s a nice product to try out before applying balm to enhance puckered up lips. This deep conditioning mask hydrates and plumps and it even works as a primer for lipstick. Don’t worry if it feels tingly because it’s a sign that collagen is kicking in and letting you know of its presence.

You can apply this to clean lips for 15-20 minutes. Its formula includes moisturizing rose flower oil, vitamin E, and cherry extract.

Unicorn Keychain. I love the cute keychain and it goes well with the theme! It was marked up though – maybe by the Swedish Fish printing?

Swedish Fish Soft & Chewy Candy ($0.12) This is a delicious, chewy gummy candy. You won’t feel guilty munching on this fat-free treat that’s fish-shaped but tastes like a fruit!

Naturistick Pomegranate Passion Lipbalm ($1.57 when you buy 7) The belle of our box! It’s made of 100% natural premium beeswax and no artificial additives. I like that this lip balm is soothing and refreshing but never overpowering.

It’s cruelty-free and has an environmentally-friendly packaging. It has a nice smooth finish and it doesn’t feel oily or tacky. The balm smells really good too!

It’s made of a blend of beeswax, sunflower seed oil, coconut oil, castor seed oil, lanolin, vitamin E, aloe vera leaf extract, cocoa seed butter, rosemary leaf oil, and shea butter. It is completely free from petroleum, chemicals, gluten, parabens and non-GMO so it is safe for adults and children of all ages.

I liked the items for this month. The pomegranate flavor has a nice cooling and moisturizing effect, but it wasn’t really what was promised (not from an Etsy style shop), and the damaged unicorn keychain was a bit of a bummer!
