Everything in my June box!

My box was packed full again this month. DegustaBox does a great job of wrapping the glass jars in bubble wrap and keeping things from getting broken and there are so many full-size items in the box everything is all packed in and good for shipping.

The information sheets are always great and full of information on the included items.

Tickle Water ($1.29) – Isn’t this the cutest little bottle? I love the owl on the front. While we got watermelon I thought it tasted a bit like strawberry and wasn’t over watermelon flavored. It is slightly carbonated so there was a fizz when you were drinking which is a Hoot!

Walkers Shortbread ($4.49) – I’m already a huge fan of Walkers shortbread cookies and these are just as delicious as the ones I’ve had before.

True Lemon ($4.99) – I’ve had True Lemon before but I’ve never paid much attention to the information on them. True Lemon has 0 calories, 0 carbs, 0g sugar and no artificial sweeteners all in easy to use packets. Using jus 1 packet has the taste of a lemon wedge and using 2 packets is 1 TBSP lemon juice. I’ve always used this in water and have never thought of adding it to recipes but now I can’t wait to give it a try.

On the back of the info sheet Degustabox usually includes a recipe with one of the products. This month it is for a smoothie using the True Lemon.

That’s It ($1.69) – We are always looking for new bars for easy to go snacks. That’s It snack is gluten free, all natural, kosher, vegan, and raw. There are 2 REAL fruit servings in each bar and they are made up of just the included fruits. We got the apple and apricot bars.

Goya Black Beans ($.99) – These are part of Goya’s growing “Better for You” line of products. These cans offer 70% less sodium than their original cans but keep all of the great taste.

Goya Sazonador Total ($3.59) – An all over seasoning mix that will work as a rub on meats, poultry, and fish or you can add it to salads, soups, sauces, and vegetables. I love something that has so many uses all in one bottle. A bit of an extra kick to any recipe you are making.

Goya Tortillas ($2.29) – Now I’m ready to make some tacos! We love tortillas at my house and use them for all kinds of meals from tacos to wraps and anything you can think of. Now to decide what to make first. I’m kind of thinking a chicken enchilada casserole. It may have to be on my next meal plan.

Mutti peeled tomatoes ($2.99) – Mutti has processing and packaging all occur within 24 hours of harvest in to preserve their authentic taste of the freshly picked tomatoes. The peeled tomatoes have their skins removed and then are immersed in a passata

Lundberg Family Farms Cinnamon Sugar Red Rice & Quinoa Tortilla Chips ($3.49) – These are interesting to me. I like Quinoa chips normally and I eat them with salsa but with the cinnamon sugar that isn’t an option for me so not sure how I wanted to try them. I opted to just bite right in and go for it. These were ok but a bit sweet for me. My youngest son did go right for them so that is a plus in my book.

Zollipops ($3.99 for a 3oz package) – Zollipops are sugar-free non-GMO, gluten free, dairy free, vegan, kosher and still delicious. We’ve tried these before and they are always favorites with my boys.

Another great DegustaBox this month. We love trying new products each month and finding some new favorites to add to our meal plans.  With this month’s items, I’m really feeling Mexican and can’t wait to make my casserole and dig in.  Goya is a brand we already love and finding new products from them is always exciting. Everything we have tried from them has always been spot on and just seeing them makes me hungry.
