BOXYCHARM is a makeup and beauty subscription box that sends out 4-5 deluxe and full-size samples every month. In the past, the items have been mostly full-size products and the boxes have been able to maintain an amazingly high value.

There is NO waitlist for BOXYCHARM right now – if you like this subscription, go for it, because the no-waitlist situation may not happen again anytime soon!

The items are neatly packaged.

The box is full of beauty essentials!

The June 2018 theme is Caribbean Queen!

The information card lists all the products in the box, together with a brief description.

Flip the black card and then you’ll see promos, giveaways and the links to their social media accounts.

Everything in my June 2018 BOXYCHARM! There are variations in the box – see them here.

Luxie Face Brush Set  ($42 for the whole set) All the brushes are neatly secured in a resealable packaging.

This line features premium and soft synthetic bristles with rose gold ferrule and a chic pink handle. All of Luxie brushes are handcrafted using hypoallergenic, vegan, and cruelty-free materials.

Luxie Rose Gold Duo Fiber Powder Brush 516 ($22 individually) This soft duo fiber bristle face brush can be used with cream or powder for a flawless finish.

It can also be used to blend contours perfectly. The black and white gradient of the brush looks beautiful!

Luxie Rose Gold Precision Foundation 660 ($18 individually) The name and number are indicated at the handle of the brush to easily identify its use.

It is a soft traditional foundation brush that can be paired with your favorite foundation may it be in cream, liquid, or powder form for a beautiful airbrushed finish.

Luxie Rose Gold Tapered Highlighting Face Brush 522 ($24 individually) It is a fluffy tapered brush to apply our favorite blush, highlighter, or contour to emphasize the high points of the face.

The tapered black and white color of the brush are more dispersed in this one. It can easily blend well and can set powder under our eyes.

Even though this set is $42 as a set, the value of the brushes if purchased individually was $64! I liked that Boxycharm used the set price, I think that’s reasonable!

Battington Monroe Silk Lashes ($28) This pair of silk lashes aims to give us moderate lash length and a dramatic volume for a fuller effect. It’s easy to use and it’s pretty lightweight too!

The lashes are packed efficiently in a box so that it won’t lose it’s original shape or get dusty.

A tip: if they’re not in your face, it should be in a case. Immediately peel off the remaining gunk or glue before storing it again. These did need trimming and we didn’t get glue with the set, but I had lots of glue, so it wasn’t an issue for me.

Sol de Janeiro Bum Bum Cream ($10) It’s a body cream inspired by the Brazilians’ love for smooth and soft bum bum (pronounced as boom boom). This is perfect to use even in summer as it is lightweight and it gets easily absorbed by the skin.

The yellow cream has a sweet refreshing scent of pistachio and salted caramel that makes it very addicting to apply. It helps tighten the appearance of the skin and leaves it smooth and soft too. The unique bottle is a perfect size for my travel kit.

Ingredients include the caffeine-rich Guaraná extract and a combination of cupuacu butter, acai oil, and coconut oil.

JonteBlu Eyeliner Pencil in Charcoal ($5) It is a creamy and long-wearing liner that offers rich intensity to the eyes.

It glides on smoothly and adds drama to any desired look. You can line the upper and lower lash line from inner to outer eye. Even though this is an inexpensive liner, it works flawlessly! I love it!

OFRA Long Lasting Liquid Lipstick in Verona ($20) Ofra liquid lipsticks are always vibrant in color. They are creamy and moisturizing on the lips. I don’t need to use a lip liner because this already gives me the edge and the plump I’m looking for. I love the full rich mocha nude brown shade with a hydrating matte finish. It contains antioxidants and Vitamin E. The colors will last for 5 hours without eating or drinking. For best results, do not eat or drink for the first 15 minutes upon application. It does not dry completely and not transfer proof but is indeed long-lasting.

Alamar Cosmetics Reina Del Caribe Vol. 1 Eyeshadow Palette ($28) Alamar is the name of an urban barrio in Cuba where the founder of the cosmetics was born. It inspired her to establish the brand as adaptable to change but never forgets the beauty of where we came from. It merges the new and the old and evolves.

This cruelty-free palette has 8 shades in total, 4 of them are metallic and 4 of them are matte.

There’s minimal powder fallout which I love, and the colors just scream summer in the Caribbean! I can definitely create a lot of different and bold looks out of this palette.

There’s a water drop icon beside the shade names that means the pigment can work well with a wet brush.

These are all the swatches including the Ofra liquid lipstick, JonteBlu eyeliner and all colors of Alamar Palette. For the Alamar Palette swatches, the metallics were great and creamy but I had issues with swatching the mattes. The Guantanamera, in particular, was gritty. Everything is one swipe except the last two because of texture issues, but that was just for swatching, not application. I know there are tons of really densely pigmented swatches out there for this palette, but this is a straight up this is what they really look like swatched. A beautiful summer palette for sure, and everyone is excited for Gaby’s new venture.

Boxycharm never fails to impress me with these deluxe items. All products they sent were of good quality and useful for on the go makeup fiends. It’s a good mix for this month’s box:  I have a colorful eye palette paired with volumizing eyelashes and waterproof eyeliner to keep me smoldering all day. There’s also the Bum Bum body cream which I can’t get enough of, a brush set that blends my makeup perfectly, and a long lasting lipstick to complete a seamless look this summer. I’m very happy and got a sweet deal out of the items and I can’t wait to use them all. If you are dying for this box, it’s still available!
