The mini-magazine was the first thing I saw in the box.

It’s full!

This month’s mini-magazine features Georgette Klinger.

The booklet has 17 pages with articles that include the products in the box.

They remind us to share photos of the box on social media using #readysetbless.

Here’s a note from Sazan. According to her, the May box is inspired by Spring and some TLC!

Every corresponding number of the product has a paired description and little comments or tips from Sazan.

I got a lot of information from the mini mag and I understand why Sazan chose the products.

We are getting a lot of items for $29.99. It’s exciting!

In the Bless It Forward section, they encourage everyone to take a pause and show your moms some love!

They encourage us to take a rest too by providing us tips to de-stress and chill for Spring.

More content coming soon.

These are not just info cards…

Surprise! At the back of the cards are coupons! One is from Organic Beauty and the other is from Go Smile.

Everything in the May box!

Swirl & Sparkle Mini Brush Cleanser ($3.99) As the name suggests, this all-natural and cruelty-free product helps clean makeup brushes. It melts the makeup residue and all the dead skin, oil, bacteria and gunk that goes with it. You can also conserve water because you only need to moisten the brush in a filled cup and wash it afterward.

After swirling the brush on the cleaner, you can swirl it unto the sparkling patent pending sugar diamond lid which acts as an exfoliator. You can reuse the bubbles as a cleaning agent and it will still work. After washing, airdry the brush, including the swirl and sparkle and its lid so you can reuse next time. This is truly a gem. The product is handmade and I’m glad it’s included in the box, even though it’s a small sample.

Go Smile Smile Stain Eraser ($14) One small box contains 14 stain erasers, an instant way to get the feeling of clean brushed teeth, fresh breath, and sparkling smile at the same time. You can use three of these per day.

I like the packaging and how they are neatly arranged together. It reminds me of breath mints, except this is more beneficial. This is perfect after a get together at a buffet or coffee dates because it removes residue left from food and drinks that can stain teeth.

Lesser Evil Buddha Bowl Himalayan Pink Popcorn ($0.22; $0.99 on the card) Ah, the wonders of the purest Himalayan Pink Salt has even reached this organic popcorn.

I’m indeed choosing the lesser evil as it is addicting but it is air popped so it contains more fiber, less fat, and fewer calories. This popcorn is amazing – I always love it.

Smashmallow Cookie Dough Mallow ($3.79; $4 on the card) This snack is a unique take on the usual marshmallow snack. It’s cookie dough flavored and has bits of chocolate inside!

It’s organic, preservative-free, non-GMO, and gluten-free.

The taste of a cookie dough is indeed there, I just wish the chocolate bits were more equally distributed. Still – a hit!

Trestique Baby Blush Stick In St. Barth’s ($5.33; $10 on the card) The information card details this as a 2-in-1 product with the high-performance blush stick at one end and applicator brush on the other. The applicator brush can be twisted off if you want to wash it in case it gets dirty.  BUT, this is the BABY Blush Stick – no brush!

This product has two shades St. Barth’s Pink (which I got) for cooler or lighter skin tones and the Bora Bora Coral for warmer complexions or medium to deep skin tones.

Now, don’t be fooled, you are not seeing two separate products. The packaging’s color is just on point. It has a magnetic closure which keeps the product from opening on itself and remains secure in your purse.

The pigment is buildable and has hydrating coconut oil that adds moisture to the skin. It has a cream-gel texture that is lightweight and not tacky on the skin. Great product but the card writers waffled this one.

Ardell Beauty Hydra Cream Lipstick In Fox ($9.99) This lipstick has so many shades and I’m glad I got Fox. It is in deep brown shade perfect for an everyday look.

It doesn’t appear streaky or patchy as it fills up the lips with pigment immediately. It has a buildable pigment and very creamy so it glides easily and smoothly on lips without problems. It is not long lasting but I don’t mind retouching once in a while either.

These are the swatches of the cream lipstick and blush stick. The colors are simple and not too crazy so I can use them every day.

NCLA We’re Off To Never Never Land Nail Laquer ($16) It is a bit pricey, but I think it’s worth it because it has good quality and it lasts a long time without chipping!

The formula is cruelty-free, DBP-free, toluene-free, and formaldehyde-free. Two coats are enough to make each nail look well colored. It can be a while before you finish a bottle.

The muted lilac creme color is not too bold, so it’s wearable for any occasion.

Georgette Klinger Vitamin C Toner ($12) I love this product because it deeply cleanses without drying the skin in the process. It is an alcohol-free toner that you can apply twice daily after a wash using a cotton ball. It contains Kakadu Plum, one of the world’s richest sources of Vitamin c. Other ingredients include aloe, witch hazel, watercress, and elderflower extracts which collectively protects, calms skin and removes excess dirt or oil for visibly brighter and healthier looking skin.

Yu Be Moisturizing Skin Cream ($2; $9.99 on the card) It claims to be one of the best selling skin care products from Japan. The cream can be applied anywhere and specializes in moisturizing rough areas like knees and elbows, without being greasy. A small amount of product can go a long way and can use as often as you want. There is also a slight minty/menthol sensation when you apply it. It’s not my favorite but it seems to be making the rounds again lately – I’m sure we’ll see it again.

SheaMoisture Silicone Free Miracle Styler ($5.95; $16.69 on the card) This is like a miracle potion for hair. It has a formulation of meadowfoam seed oil, marshmallow root, sugarcane, and nourishing botanicals that claim to leave hair smooth and more manageable. It is a leave-in treatment that does it all! It nourishes, detangles, cuts drying time, reduces frizz, adds shine and protects hair from environmental damage.

Just spray into your palm and run it through your dry and styled hair. You can also use it on damp hair prior to detangling and heat styling. Apply to wet hair and blow dry if you want an added shine.

Art Naturals Argan Oil Hair Mask ($10.95; $13 on the card) If your hair had undergone numerous coloring, blow drying and heat exposures, then you might need this mask to repair and bring back its hydration. It is a hero for the hair and scalp, as it provides nourishment for both.

After shampooing, apply the mask and leave on for 3-5 minutes. It will show best results by using the mask 2-3 times per week. This is a bit intense for my hair (Sazan has curly hair, so you might expect more hydrating products in this sub) – passing it to my curly-haired bestie. She’s pumped.

L’Oreal Pure Clay Detox & Brighten Mask ($8.83; $12.99 on the card) Look at how black it is! The mask has a thick consistency that is a potent combination of 3 pure clays and charcoal that brightens up the skin instantly.

The formula helps with uneven skin tone and gives a luxurious cleansing of pores.

It has a creamy consistency that is not drying. Instead, it makes your skin feel fresh and detoxified. Use this mask thrice a week and leave on for 10 to 15 minutes.

Simple Skincare Skin Quench Sleeping Cream ($9.46; $9.99 on the card) This is specially made for dehydrated or dry skin. It consists of minerals and plant extract that smoothens roughness and helps restore dull skin to make it revitalized and supple.

It has water boost technology that it can also be perfect for sensitive skin. It smells good, feels refreshing and not greasy at all! Awesome product for my dry summer skin.

This box is a hit when it comes to being generous and achieving the TLC theme. They included lots of moisturizing products and that’s great, but on the other hand, they could’ve pushed the variety more. Nonetheless, I can use a lot of items in this box and it’s my favorite Bless Box yet. I’m loving the brush cleaner because it is an effective, innovative product. The blush stick and nail lacquer were nice too. It’s disappointing that the card is clearly written off the full size items (sometimes using the wrong information to boot), but it only mildly diminishes the success of this month’s curation. The total value for the May box was about $103 – no need to inflate (although I suspect it’s just sloppiness and not really a calculated measure).
