April’s SnackFever theme is Spring Blossom. This is a review of the original box.

The booklet features selfies of subscribers with their Snack Fever boxes, as well as some Korean vocabulary words.

Of course, there’s also a list of all the items in the Snack Fever Mini Box, Original Box, and Deluxe Box.

Here are the full contents of April’s Original box. To see all of our SnackFever reviews including the big box, click here.

Sticker. Included in the box is a cute doggo sticker, with some cherry blossom adornments. It says “bom,” which means spring in Korean.

BONUS ITEM: Macaron Post-It. Another novelty item we got from this box is a sticky note pad with an aqua mint macaron design.

At the back of the pad are more details about the item. Don’t eat!

It sure looks yummy, but it’s paper! Well, I’m just going to use them for writing notes.

Korean Lovely Graphic Ballpen. To pair with the sticky notes, they included this cute retractable pen!

It’s funny because they call it a “boyfriend study ballpen.” It also features a gesture Korean stars popularized, which is called “finger heart.”

It’s cute! There are also drawings of school supplies like a pen, eraser, compass, and a triangle. It has an extremely fine tip.

Elephant Tape Gum. On to the edible stuff which I’m really excited about, here’s a gummy start!

The long strip of gum is placed inside a container that imitates a tape dispenser.

Pink Elephants are really cute and this will make the process of eating a long strip of gum less sticky and messy!

You can just roll the right amount of gum you can chew and cut it. It’s really fun!

Honey Butter Chip Cherry Blossom Special Editon. It’s a special edition of the popular crisps Honey Butter from Calbee. Instead of the usual golden packaging, it comes in a cute pink pouch pack, reminiscent of the cherry blossoms!

The crisps are light and thin, they are perfectly crunchy. With the sweet honey and creamy butter flavor combined with the pleasant flowery scent, no wonder this snack became a hit.

Fresh Berry Pie. It’s a light, soft cake with a rich peachy and yogurt filling inside. We got two pieces!

The cake is really light and spongy.

The sweetness and fruitiness of the peach go well with a little tang from the yogurt, it’s a special combination that actually complemented each other well.

Plum Candy. These hard plum candies are the best! They have a sweet and refreshing taste, and each ball is packed with vitamin E too.

Baked Potato Stick. They looked like plain and uncoated Peppero sticks!

I’m actually wondering how “naked” Peppero tastes like!

The sticks are baked, and it’s good to know. They snapped easily with a good crunch. The taste is surprisingly good! I still prefer the coated ones but I’ll also give these buttery ones a thumbs up.

Chicken Hot Gangjeong. Meat-flavored chips sound weird but we’ll never know unless we give them a try!

They’re sweet, savory with a right amount of kick! The puffs are light and crunchy and the flavors jive really well. So it’s true, don’t judge the food by its packaging and how weirdly the flavor or variant sounds!

Red Bean Milk Caramel. Red bean is a popular Asian flavor, and they mostly work with breads and pastries so it’s kinda new to me that they also included it in a milk caramel candy.

The bites come individually wrapped. I love the milk caramel candy, it’s a lovely chew, and the red bean paste added more sweetness and richness to it.

Sunflower Chocoball. Sunflower seeds are popular snacking items, and adding chocolate to it makes it twice the fun.

Each seed is wrapped in rich chocolate. It added sweetness to its slightly salty taste and made it balanced. This pack will make a great on-the-go snack.

Yogurt Almond. Almonds are yummy on their own, and with yogurt they’re… interesting!

I love the sweet and tangy yogurt taste plus the almonds’ distinctive nutty flavor. It’s just addicting that I can’t stop munching on them but they’re really quite odd. An interesting taste discovery.

Snack Fever always sends fun and delicious snacks from Korea! The uniqueness of each snack item is what sets it apart from other snack boxes. They have sweet, sour, and savory treats, plus some new and quirky snacks that excite all of us at home. It’s a relief that they put up these kinds of boxes, it’s easier for us to get snacks we usually can’t buy from local stores. If you’re interested in the Korean culture and Kpop, they even include useful Korean vocabulary words in the booklet, as well as K-pop-themed extras. It’s a total win for us!
