Walmart Beauty Box is a quarterly sample box – just $5 for the shipping and handling. If you want a sampling experience for items you can buy at Walmart, this is your box!

I’m over 35, so I get the Classic based on the age in my profile. See the full spoilers for the Trendsetter box here.

You can visit Walmart.com to complete your profile and get the items fit for you.

You can rate and review their products at their website, and you also have a chance to win a $100 gift card when you do.

This is what you see when you first open the box.

Here are all the items in the Walmart Beauty Box this Spring. Do note that this box ships out over months and months, and items may vary. Last quarter I had problems with my beauty box account and I ended up setting up a second account. I don’t think the Winter beauty box ever shipped on my original account, and they haven’t shipped Spring, either. So weird.

These are the information cards about some of the sample products inside.

Soo Ae Acai Berry Revitalizing Sheet Mask ($2.50) Infused with sorbitol and 12 potent plant extracts, this product has no artificial fragrances and aims to revitalize skin and give nutritional benefits to dry and dull fatigued skin. It is lightweight and the extracts are easily absorbed well by the skin.

Also included is a coupon for a FREE box of Clairol Nice ‘N Easy Hair Color (Up to $8.99 value). I love the freebie!

You can even rub the card and take a sniff to know how it smells. It claims “allergy gentle” but if you’re really looking for gentle hair color, I strongly recommend Madison Reed.

Once you have your hair color box, just present this card at the counter and they will scan the card for you.

There’s a hair tie attached to the coupon card. #neverenough!

Hello Toothpaste ($0.98) It feels weird when I’m brushing black-colored toothpaste because it’s messy and it seems like I’m brushing tar. Ironically, it whitens the teeth. This toothpaste is primarily made of free activated charcoal paste, which also helps remove plaque and freshen your breath. It’s natural, vegan, and cruelty free too!

Degree Motion Sense Ultra Clear Black & White Antiperspirant ($4.81) What I hate about deodorants is that it can have white marks on black clothes and yellow stains on whites. It is comforting to know that it’s not the case with this one. This version is known for anti-residue on clothes. From the name itself, it has a motion-sense formula to prevent body odor and perspiration from an active lifestyle. I’m totally happy getting a full-sized deodorant in my box.

Jergens Natural Glow Wet Skin Moisturizer ($2.30) There are only two shades of this moisturizer: one for fair to medium skin tones and the other for medium to tan. Other lotions are usually applied to the dry skin but this should be applied to the wet skin after shower to lock in the hydration. No need to rinse it off, just pat it to dry. It has subtle pigment and it appears evenly on the skin after few consecutive uses but it will not appear on your washcloths. Downside? Parabens.

Softsoap Earth Blends Moisturizing Body Wash ($0.60) This body wash has a refreshing and soothing coconut fragrance which reminds me of the tropics. It cleanses and moisturizes while maintaining natural moisture of the skin and it has a really good lather too. The formula is made of 10 biodegradable ingredients that clean very well without leaving a sticky residue.

Aquaphor Advanced Therapy Ointment Body Spray ($2.32) I’m amazed at this innovation — a moisturizing ointment spray! It promises to lock in more moisture than water-based sprays, so that your skin stays soft and supple. The product applies evenly to the skin and reaches even those hard to reach areas. It’s hypoallergenic and cooling so it’s just perfect to have in handy for hot days. But it’s also the third or fourth sample of this that I’ve received.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Deep Conditioner ($1.07) Saved the best for last! This is a deep conditioner that really works. It has a nice, thick consistency that works on all types of hair. It makes detangling easier, no matter how frizzy, and it also repairs damaged hair. I love the packaging because the opening is at the base so you don’t have to shake or squeeze hard because the product already settles on the opening. A small amount goes a long way! On top of it all, the conditioner smells so good!

Where can your $5 take you? If you want to maximize your $5 and if you are interested in getting sample sized beauty items, then this is your box! Getting samples quarterly and being in-the-know of new products available at Walmart can be beneficial. This little box is perfect for travel. There’s about $15 of items plus the free hair color coupon, which is substantially better than in previous quarters. This box felt like a total revamp!

What did you think of the Classic Walmart Beauty Box this quarter?

I liked my box (received 7/3/18), but the one shown here is even better! I got the Jergen’s tanning shower lotion, Dove’s exfoliating cream, Soft-soap shower wash, 6 strips (3 days) of Rembrandt whitening strips, Donkey Milk face mask, and blister pack samples of Whole blends shampoo and conditioner. I also got a coupon for $2 off a teeth whitening kit. So, overall, I’m really happy with the box and feel like I got my money’s worth. Would have loved the deodorant and free hair dye kit, though!

Your box looks wonderful, I only recieved 4 samples in my box which clearly was a mistake on Walmart’s end and they are doing nothing about it they say well basically you get what you get ummm I’ve been with them 4 years and I’ve only had this happen one other time and when that happened which was years ago customer service was stellar they helped out right away and where so kind now I’m being told oh well everyone gets different boxes lol I get that everyone gets different products but I’m sorry I watch a lot of unboxing sand have a bunch of friends and family I referred to the box who all got 7-8 products with full size products ? sorry to vent here I’m just curious what you would do in this situation? I’m frustrated that I’m being dismissed and I’m almost 100% sure nobody else recieved 4 samples in their boxes and that’s it! I did recieve those pamphlets for other products which shows their are products missing because it’s been my experience they don’t send those unless you have that product in your box? ??‍♀️? I dunno??

I would write one more time that you’ve seen everyone’s unboxings on instagram, you realize items may vary but everyone else received xyz and you only received x and you would just hate to have to do a chargeback on this purchase. It’s really the only threat that seems to work with some companies.

I received my Classic Spring 2018 Walmart Beauty Box today. It was very disappointing and I plan on cancelling. The box contained 5 products – Pantene foam conditioner sheer volume 1.4 oz, Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer 2 oz (received this product before), Plackers 12 count Micro Mint dental flossers (received the same product in my winter 2017 box), SOO AE sleeping mask
0.35 oz, and Dove Exfoliating Body Polish 1 oz. I looked up the product date of the Dove Exfoliating Body Polish crushed macadamia & Rice on the Checkfresh website to find out it is 8 years, 18 days old!!!!!!!!!!!! I feel they are just giving leftover stuff to those of us who always get our boxes weeks after most subscribers. I can’t recommend this box. My sister’s felt the same way and cancelled their boxes. I have been a subscriber for three years. There’s no reward for loyalty.
