Treats is a monthly snack subscription full of snacks from around the world. You can expect to receive eclectic and interesting snacks that you’ve never sampled before (unless, of course, you’ve lived in the featured country recently)! The Standard Pack offers 4-5 snacks, while the Premium box offers 8-10.  It’s quick to enroll, and you’ll get your first box within a few days of when you subscribe.

This is a review of the premium pack – $25.95 per month.

The packaging is simple and elegant. Tissue paper keeps the contents a secret until you are ready to dive in.

DEAL: You can save 15% on your first month with coupon code HELLO15.

The box always includes a beautiful postcard welcoming us to this month’s Treats destination. Usually, it is a shot of one of the most iconic landmarks of the country. This month, it’s Krakow, Poland!

The box is filled to the top with goodies! Everything comes in its original packaging, often solely in the language of the featured country – sometimes it’s just as much fun to see the unique package styling as it is to try the snacks! The box is always so full, that they don’t need to use any extra packing material.

The introduction card tells a little about the snack culture and points out some of the flavors or snack styles that are popular or unique to the destination.

Another card features facts about Poland, plus a clue for next month’s box.

This month’s featured recipe is Pierogi or Polish Dumplings.

There is also a handy info card that gives the name and maker of each treat, as well as a short description of each. The blurbs give you a sense of what to expect, but you’ll have to check each treat’s label (and possibly hire a translator) for more detailed info on ingredients and nutrition. Even with the card, the only way to truly appreciate everything is to taste it!

Everything in the box. The composition of each Treats collection depends on the local snacking culture, but there is usually a good mix of sweet and savory and individual and family packs.

Solidarnosc Krowka Milk Cream Fudge ($24.99 for 1kg) It’s a delicious fudge candy made with whole milk powder and skimmed milk powder.

It has a chewy center! I like its creaminess! It’s also gluten-free.

Maspex Salatini Crackers Salatini crackers is one of the most popular salty biscuits in Poland, and it now comes in yummy pizza flavor!

The biscuits are baked to perfection. It also comes in a variety of shapes, while the salt grains are so visible. They had the perfect level of pizza and we all really gobbled this bag up! ???

Jutrzenka Familijne Cream Wafers This tasty wafer is made by Familijne, a popular Polish biscuit brand.

The wafer itself is thick and crispy, while the filling is chocolaty and creamy. It makes such a filling and tasty snack, and the kids loved it too. This was a giant pack that was big enough for all of us to share!

E. Wedel Pawelek Toffi It’s an addicting candy bar made with toffee cream covered in decadent milk chocolate.

This treat is so indulgent. The dark milk chocolate was sweet, and it gets even sweeter as you get to the toffee center that melts quickly in the mouth.

Mieszko Zozole Who can say no to cola-flavored candy? These are individually wrapped and great for sharing with friends or family.

This candy is hard and sweet. The best part? It’s fizzy center!

E. Wedel Halva Krolewska – SIMILAR ($8.95 Full-Size 8.82oz) Another unique Polish snack is halva, a snack bar made from Tahini or sesame paste or other nut butters.

This halva is long and thick, and made even yummier by vanilla!

It has a delicately sweet taste, no wonder the Polish people love it so much.

Jutrzenka Draze Mleczne  These round candies consist of a thin and crispy outer shell with a hard center.

They’re sweet and creamy but not extreme, so it was easy to munch on. I just kept on grabbing more!

E. Wedel Supreme Jaffa Cakes In Cherry ($8.88) The next snack is a sponge cake with raspberry jelly and dark chocolate.

One pack contains 10 pieces of mouthwatering sponge cakes – and they’re just like English Jaffa cakes.

The top is covered with dark chocolate while the E.Wedel logo is engraved at the bottom of each piece.

A sweet tasting raspberry is awaiting behind the thin chocolate topping. It has a nice mouthfeel and it’s definitely satisfying! My wife is addicted to these and she really couldn’t stop herself.

E. Wedel Aha! – Crunchy sesame seeds were combined with sweet honey glaze in this unique cookie snack.

There are three pieces in one pack and all of them were fresh and crunchy!

Olza Prince Polo Classic Saving the best for last! Prince Polo Classic has been the most sold chocolate bar for decades in Iceland and was for many years one of the few chocolate bars available in Poland.

A classic chocolate wafer, it’s thick and fully covered with dark chocolate.

There are 4 layers of wafer and 3 layers of chocolate filling. It’s best paired with milk or other hot beverages!

Treats Box has been sending a lot of great tasting, high quality, and popular snacks. This month, the featured country is Poland and it didn’t disappoint – we loved all the goodies! Most of these Polish snacks are somewhat new to me, but they weren’t hard to like at all because many of the treats are on the sweet side and who could say no to that? My favorites are definitely the Supreme Jaffa Cake and the Olza classic wafer! My tummy is happy with this month’s selection, and I’m looking forward to experiencing more unique treats next month!
