The Gentleman’s Box is a monthly men’s subscription box providing the required essentials for the savvy man. Boxes contain specially-selected items that range from accessories to grooming. When you subscribe, you also receive a subscription to GQ magazine, which is delivered separately through the mail.

The Gentlemen’s Post walks through everything in the box, and more. There is a handy table of contents that gives a quick list of the contents and the total retail value. The last several issues have introduced new members to the Gentleman’s Box team.
Each month is dedicated to someone who has had a significant influence on culture or fashion. This month’s collection is to our favorite Detroit Designer.
They always give you an inspiration page showing all the items in the box and how to wear them. The clues lead you to John Varvatos.
A page is dedicated to each item — they include the usual picture and blurb, but they also include a handy section denoting the level of attire (e.g. formal, business, biz-cas, casual) for which the item is appropriate, as well as colors that best complement it.
I really like the layout of the product guide!
They categorize items and features into Look Good, Feel Good, and Be Good sections, highlighting fashion, health and grooming, and charitable endeavors, respectively.
This magazine greatly helps men to amp up our fashion style.
This month’s Feel Good Section has a list of songs for your summer playlist…
…and an optimistic article about the rebuilding of Detroit.
This part of the booklet is called Be Good and it tackles a little information about Stuart House Charity Benefit.

Barry Beaux Tie ($35) This floral necktie is an exciting choice and a bold move on my part when I wear this. It will indeed strike a conversation and a lot of small talk.
This necktie is handmade and is of good quality, I like the feel of the fabric.
If ever I feel inspired to wear something different, I’ll follow the advice written in the magazine that indicates how to wear this best.
Pacific Issue Sock ($15) This month’s featured pair of socks are soft and comfortable, with colors perfect for summer. It’s made of breathable 100% nylon fabric that is not too thick.
There’s a note saying this pair of socks has an especially curated design to keep up with the times of competitive industry. They are ridding men of boring styles and pushing their limits to make bold choices.
It is high quality indeed. The color combination suited my preferences. I will wear this for sure.
Noble Sole Shoe Laces ($10) I find these red shoelaces really useful! They’re not too thick nor too thin, just the right size to keep your shoes comfortable and fashionable.
They are tough and durable. Hopefully, it’ll survive the wear and tear of daily use too.
The ends of the laces are secured and protected by a metal tip.
Stolen Riches Shoe Brush ($20) The company Stolen Riches has been in the fashion industry for a hundred of years and they are still branching out to other endeavors.
The box collaborated with them to create a luxury shoe brush because they believe that nothing ruins a good pair of shoes more than a dull leather.
In order to be a perfect gentleman, your shoes should be as shiny as your personality. With a little help of the polish that is included in this box, it will not be a problem.
Cobbler Concierge Shoe Bag ($15) It would be a waste for a well-polished shoe to not have proper storage. This cloth shoe bag is perfect for your pair especially when you travel.
Cobble Concierge Shoe Polish ($10) I like the simple packaging. It is an exclusive polish that extends the footwear life by ridding and preventing it from scratches.
You have to continuously shine your shoes to maintain and restore the overall appearance. It will improve their endurance in daily wear and tear. You always have to start your day with your best foot forward and you can achieve that with a shiny shoe.
It is a complete shoe essential that is a fit for any gentleman.
Out of the bunch, the necktie may seem random but I like its addition because it is so different from my usual necktie choices. As for the rest of the box that makes my feet stylish, the socks were my favorite. The shoe shining kit along with the lace and shoe bag raised and added sophistication. Overall, I like this box and I can’t wait for more!
