Good Dee’s Sugarfree Sweetness Blondies ($11.99) These were amazing! I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious these were. I was amazed to find they are gluten, wheat, soy, sugar and grain free. I was really afraid they would be taste free too. They were a little different from the blondies I’ve had before but just as tasty.
Smart Cake Gluten Free Cinnamon ($2.75 per Smartcake) Another gluten free and sugar free treat… unfortunately, they aren’t as easy to eat as I had hoped. My cake crumbled and made a huge mess all over my car, not made for a quick meal. I was very impressed that these cinnamon cakes were pretty moist and full of cinnamon. I would definitely give this another try mostly because I found out they are baked to order… how freaking cool is that!
The Gilded Nut Original Blend ($3.50) Savory, garlicky and smoky with just a little heat. It took my husband and I the entire package to figure out if we liked these nuts. The jury is still out. The nuts were super fresh but the spices were not my favorite. I did read that they suggest eating these nuts with a nice smoky Pinor Noir.
Epic Turkey Almond Cranberry Bars ($2.50) Turkey Almond Cranberry bars offer a blend of nutrient-dense low-fat turkey, tart cranberry and almonds. This was like having Thanksgiving dinner without all the prep and clean up. In my opinion this bar got better and better with each bite. I’m interested in tasting all the products Epic makes.
Front Porch Pecans in Sea Salt ($5.75) This snack was my favorite one in the box. These pecans were crisp and crunchy with just the right amount of salt. I could easily make the switch to sea salt pecans from popcorn at the movies, these will be making an appearance in my pantry. In my opinion these are the best nuts I have ever had, I could eat them daily.
Pizootz Bay Spice Flavor Infused Peanuts. All natural ingredients, gluten free, vegan and protein packed. I’m not a peanut fan but my husband said these were great. He liked the the fact that these are different than your everyday peanuts but not so out of the normal that have no place in his snacking world.
This box will revolutionize my entire diabetic snacking world. I am so surprised that there are so many sugar-free items that taste amazing. I can’t wait to share this subscription will all of my healthy-lifestyle friends. Sugar Smart Box is so much fun and I can’t wait to see what next month brings me. I really hope that no one is around when I unbox it so I don’t have to share.
