Sparkling Smile Club Tooth Brush ($3.50) You get to pick your toothbrush color from either blue, pink, yellow, or purple. I know it looks blue in my pictures but I actually got my requested purple brush!
All of the brushes feature the Sparkling Smile Club logo and have soft bristles. If they wanted to offer a bit more customization then it would be nice to choose between compact brush head (my daughter and I have very small mouths) or standard and maybe offer ultra soft or medium bristles too.
I got to choose my toothpaste from 6 different options.
Colgate Cavity Protection Great Regular Flavor ($1.88) I went with good old Colgate since it doesn’t bother my gums or cheeks.
Reach Mint Waxed Floss ($4.50) You can choose from either waxed or unwaxed floss so I went with waxed. I like mint flavored anything. I’m not sure why this floss is so expensive on Amazon, I pay 99¢ for this same product at my grocery store.
I was pretty pleased with my first Sparkling Smile Box! It was very basic and the items sent were also pretty standard. This was almost like an upgraded version of what they send me home with when I leave the dentist office after a cleaning. Maybe the subscription box model will stay the same but I see lots of room for upgrades such as offering floss for people with braces or really any other type of floss. As I mentioned earlier, I would love to see variations in the toothbrush bristle type or head size. I liked that they had a variety of toothpastes to choose from. If you are tired of reminding yourself that you need to change your brush every 3 months then you can sign up for this subscription and they will send a new box when it’s time to change!
