A calendar of Menlo Club’s offerings per month. The Menlo Club subscriptions will include Five Four clothing, shoes from the New Republic footwear line made in collaboration with Mark McNairy, and the Grand AC athletic and leisure wear line. Five Four Cielo No Show Socks In White. These socks are as white as snow. They’re made from high quality cotton and spandex to provide maximum comfort.
The socks are extremely low-cut, but it’s kept in place by the non-slip heel. They’re really soft and breathable too!
Kurt Leather Sneakers In White. I got a new pair of sneakers from this month’s box! Although I’ve been reviewing Five Four for years I think this is my first pair of shoes.
The shoes came fully covered by plastic.
It’s a low-top lace-up sneaker with a round toe, and it’s immaculately white. This pair deserves to be a staple item in any man’s wardrobe, as it is versatile and comfortable.
The brown insole is so soft. It provides a great support to the heel, lessening the pressure intake of the feet while walking for a long time.
The tongue also has a gold stamp of the New Republic logo!
The lace is 100% tonal cotton.
The white sneakers also feature a padded collar for extreme comfort.
Aside from the primary stitching, these shoes have reinforced outsole stitching for utmost stability.
The upper part is all leather, while the rubber outsole is double stitched. It’s a classic!
It’s time to test out the socks. It looks quite different from the usual socks because it is really customized for low-cut shoes.
They fit my feet perfectly!
True to its promise, it wasn’t noticeable and it remained comfortable!
It’s great for casual wear, but you can also dress up these white sneakers with ease!
This month’s Menlo Club is superb! It’s the first time I received shoes from the subscription, and they didn’t fail me – I’m picky about my shoes and these were extremely comfortable, and have held up since I received them. I like everything about my new sneakers, from the color to the style and to the fit. It’s a timeless piece, you can wear it with a variety of outfits no matter what season and it’ll look good. Also, getting it at a lower price compared to retail stores is really a good deal. I’m glad they included a pair of socks as well. All in all, it feels great to expand my wardrobe without going to the mall to shop. Menlo Club is a perfect way to explore different styles too, as you can choose a profile outside your comfort zone when you feel adventurous!
