A closer look at this month’s loot!

There’s a pillow! Sweet!

Everything in the April 2018 Crate!

Delicious in Dungeon Pin. Loot Anime Pins feature manga covers and for this month, we got Delicious in Dungeon’s Vol. 1 cover by Ryoko Kui.

When young adventurer Laios and his company are attacked and soundly thrashed by a dragon deep in a dungeon, the party loses all its money and provisions…and a member! They’re eager to go back and save her, but there is just one problem: If they set out with no food or coin to speak of, they’re sure to starve on the way! But Laios comes up with a brilliant idea: “Let’s eat the monsters!” Slimes, basilisks, and even dragons…none are safe from the appetites of these dungeon-crawling gourmands!

Pikotaro Handkerchief. Do you remember that hit song that is kind of annoying but still became a hit, especially with the kids because of its catchy tune and simple lyrics? Yes! This is the guy who sang it!

What, you don’t know the song?

Seriously this video has 194 MILLION VIEWS.

Aside from featuring Pikotaro’s signature look and color, the hanky also has the fruits in his popular song, which are the apple and the pineapple… I’m wondering where the pen is though. PPAP!

Pop Team Epic T-Shirt. Also known as Poptepipic (or Poputepipikku), it is a four-panel surreal comedy webcomic and digital manga series written and illustrated by Bkub Okawa.

Which one do you like best? You can have them both in this shirt as the front features Popuko and Pipimi at the back! The front shows the wacky and fun girl who wears a sailor uniform and has short blonde hair tied in two side ponytails!

The back also comes with the web comics’ logo.

Pipimi occupied the space at the back of the shirt. She is the taller girl among the two and has a long, navy blue hair with a red bow on her head, that she never takes off.

Baccano Vol. 1 Manga. We got the first volume of the light novel series Baccano.

Aboard the ship Advenna Avis in 1711, a group of alchemists summon a demon in the hopes of gaining eternal life. The demon gives them an elixir of immortality and the method of ending their existence, by “devouring” one another, and grants the summoner Maiza Avaro the formula of the elixir. Maiza and most of the alchemists decide that no one else must become immortal; only Szilard Quates opposes. That night, the alchemists begin to disappear, devoured by Szilard. Realizing the threat posed by staying together, they scatter across the globe.

The manga talks mostly about alchemy, and that makes it kind of interesting.

Like most manga, the illustrations are in black and white, it’s also in English but you can read it like a Japanese manga, from right to left.

Konosuba: God’s Blessing On This Wonderful World Pillow. We encountered this anime from the start as they’re the featured characters in this month’s poster, and now here they are again printed on a pillow!

KonoSuba is a Japanese light novel series written by Natsume Akatsuki and it follows a boy who is sent to a fantasy world following his death, forming a dysfunctional party with a goddess, a wizard, and a crusader to fight against monsters.

The chibi prints on the plain side of the pillow look awesomely cute!

I actually love this part of the pillow, it has a minimalist feel to it, and it’s really adorable!

It’s another Loot Anime box that didn’t include a figure, and I am kind of disappointed. I hope they bring it back in the next one. The shirt is great and the pillow is really adorable but I really want the figures back! But compared to the March box which came really late, this is a good follow-up. I hope they’ll send the next boxes right on time.
