Kal-Elle Fandom Monthly is a fandom inspired box that sends 4-7 pieces of hand selected jewelry and collectibles each month. Kal-Elle announces the theme each month ahead of time so you can go in and skip if it is a fandom you just aren’t into.

The theme for March was Firefly and I was so excited. I’m a huge Firefly fangirl so this theme is just so right for me. This box was shipped later then normal due to some manufacturing delays.

I was a little surprised when I got the box since it wasn’t the normal pink square box.  One of the items was larger then normal so we got a bigger box.

The boxes include a postcard with the information listed on one side.

I aim to misbehave Necklace – A great start to the box. This is a great quote from the Serenity movie that was a follow up to the Firefly series.

The inspirational speech before they started to take action.

I am loving this necklace. It is simple and one that I can wear all the time but it also shares my love and for those other Browncoats out there will know exactly what it is when they read it. It makes me giddy.

Serenity Bracelet – Serenity is the name of the ship in Firefly. It is their home and their workplace and the main setting for the whole series.

I had to slip this one right on with the bracelet I was already wearing. It goes with it perfectly and is one I’ve been wearing for the last couple of days already.

Kaylee Parasol Earrings – WOW, these are a bit much for me but they really do fit the character. Kaylee is the mechanic and such a fun loving soul. I’m thinking these will be great when I’m doing something with my kids or just really having fun with my outfit that day.

Firefly Poster – Ehhhhh, the reason we needed the larger box this month. This is the style of the art we get in most Kal-Elle boxes but it is super sized! I’m obsessed with this and already planning to get it framed and hanging it with my other Firefly goodies.

Browncoats Patch – In Firefly Browncoats are  the people who fought the Alliance which is what brought Mal and Zoe together. Now if you are a huge fan of the show and movie we are called Browncoats. This is a stellar patch to share our joint fandom.

Captain Malcolm Makeup Bag – Kal-Elle calls this a makeup bag but I’m using it for a pencil bag and goodie bag to carry things back and forth to work. I carry a notebook at all times and in here I’ve placed some sticky notes, pens, bookmarks, and stickers.  Love it!

Firefly Magnet – I bet you can’t guess that this magnet is already on my fridge. We get a magnet in each box and I place them all right on my fridge for all to see.

Info card front – The info cards are like art themselves and this month we get a stained glass window looking Serenity ship with some of the shows sayings. Can you say gorgeous!

4×6 Art Print – I was excited to get a small print to go with the larger print. I’m going to get some frames and get them all on the wall. They are just too great to stick directly up so they need frames. I think a trip to IKEA is in order.

My Kal-Elle Fandom Monthly sent the most ME box this month ever!  I love, love, love it all. The jewelry is fantastic and shares a love of the show without being too crazy so I’ll be able to wear them all the time and it won’t feel to kitschy. However the poster is what really just screamed at me when I opened the box. I love the splatter style of the prints we get in our Kal-Elle boxes and getting the whole team in one larger poster is phenomenal and way more then I could have asked for.

The next couple of themes have been announced and they are Avengers in April, Jurassic in May and then Lilo & Stitch in June!  I’m a bit obsessed with all of these themes and can’t wait for them all.
